Developing and operating across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data center design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.\nLocation: Frankfurt (Raunheim), Germany | Hybrid | Full-Time\nPosition Overview\nVantage is seekingan IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our Global Infrastructure Team, supporting critical enterprise infrastructure across EMEA and the wider global organisation.\nThis role combines hands-ontechnicalsupport, project delivery, and continuous improvementacross VMware, Microsoft Azure, Linux, Windows Server, networking, and storage environments.\nAsa key member of the team,you willdesign, deploy,maintain, andoptimisethecore systemsthat underpinourbusiness operations.\nWorking under the guidance of the IT Infrastructure Manager,you will helpdeliver reliable, secure, and scalable network, compute, storage, and virtualization solutions.\nYou willuse yourtechnicalexpertiseto resolve complex issues,contributetoinfrastructure projects and work closely with IT peers and business stakeholdersto ensure oursystems meet organisational standards for performance, availability, and security.\nIn addition todesigning and implementing infrastructure solutions, analysingand troubleshootingsystems, managing upgrades and enhancements, and supporting the successful execution of infrastructure projects, you willprovide technical guidance to junior engineers, contribute to project planning, and ensurework is delivered inlinewith company policies, ITIL-based processes, and agreed service levels.\nBy staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, particularly in Linux administration, Microsoft 365, automation, and infrastructure management,you will helpdrive innovation and the ongoing evolution ofVantage’s globalIT infrastructure.\nKey Responsibilities\nImplement, configure, andmaintainenterprise IT infrastructureplatforms including:VMware, Microsoft Azure, Linux, Servers,StoragePlatforms,Networking, Cloud Services\n\nSupport infrastructure operations across multiple locations and customer-facing hybridenvironments.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.\n\nSupport upgrades, patching, and configuration changes.\n\nMonitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security.\n\nMaintain technical documentation and operational procedures.\n\nSupport disaster recovery and business continuity planning.\n\nCollaboratewith IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.\n\nFollow security, compliance, and governance requirements\n\nParticipate in an on-call support rota whenrequired.\n\nTravel required is expected to be 5%, but may be higherat timesdepending on infrastructure support and project needs.\n\nRequired Skill& Experience\nFluent Englishskills(written and spoken)\n\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology,Computer Science,Engineering,related technical field, or equivalent professional experience\n\nA minimum of 3-5years of experience in: - Infrastructure Engineering - Systems Administration - Technical Support\n\nStrong knowledge of: - Compute and server platforms - Storage technologies - Virtualisation-VMware - Cloud platforms- MicrosoftAzure -
