This role ensures equipment is installed and serviced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with manufacturer specifications and applicable regulations, while delivering high-quality service to support customer mobility needs.\nRequirements\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nThe essential functions listed below represent the primary duties of the position. Duties may vary based on assignment and business needs.\nInstall, service, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mobility and accessibility equipment in accordance with company standards and manufacturer guidelines \nDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform corrective repairs \nConduct routine maintenance, safety checks, and quality inspections on mobility equipment \nDocument service work, repairs, and inspections accurately and timely \nCommunicate with supervisors, team members, and customers regarding service needs and repair status \nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, or combination of education, training, and relevant experience \nExperience working in a manufacturing, production, automotive, or professional service environment \nMechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools \nRequired certifications or licenses: Valid driver’s license; additional certifications as required by role or regulation \nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nTechnical or vocational training in automotive, electrical, or mechanical repair \nExperience with mobility, accessibility, or vehicle upfitting equipment \nWelding, electrical wiring, or hydraulic system experience \nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions \nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills \nAttention to detail with a focus on safety and quality \nEffective communication and teamwork skills \nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods \nAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds \nAbility to work safely around machinery, tools, and manufacturing equipment \nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWork is performed in an environment that may include exposure to manufacturing equipment, moving mechanical parts, noise, fumes, or varying temperatures, depending on the role.\nSAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION\nThis position is designated as safety-sensitive.
