This role will focus on Microsoft and Salesforce platforms, ensuring architecture decisions support business needs, enterprise standards, long-term scalability, and cross-system interoperability.\nPosition Overview\nThis role can be based in Denver, CO following our flexible work policy (3 days in-office, 2 days flexible). Or remote, US.\nVantage is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise solutions across Microsoft and Salesforce platforms. This role is responsible for translating business strategy into scalable, secure, and integrated technology architectures. You will serve as the technical authority across platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, long-term scalability, and cross-system interoperability. The ideal candidate brings deep architectural experience, strong integration expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders across business and technical teams in a fast-scaling environment.\nEssential Job Functions\nDefine end-to-end solution architectures across Microsoft, including Azure, M365, Dynamics, and Power Platform, as well as Salesforce ecosystems.\n\nEstablish architectural standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks.\n\nLead technical design sessions and produce high-quality architecture artifacts, including diagrams, design documents, and integration blueprints.\n\nDesign and oversee cross-platform integrations, including APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and data synchronization models.\n\nEvaluate build vs. buy decisions and recommend scalable platform strategies.\n\nPartner with Business Analysts and Product Owners to translate functional requirements into technical designs.\n\nEnsure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, performance, and maintainability.\n\nProvide technical oversight during implementation to ensure alignment with approved architecture.\n\nIdentify technical debt, scalability risks, and modernization opportunities.\n\nSupport roadmap planning with forward-looking architectural guidance.\n\nCollaborate with infrastructure, data, security, and application teams to ensure ecosystem cohesion.\n\nDrive architectural reviews and participate in governance boards or design authority sessions.\n\nAdditional duties as assigned by Management\n\nJob Requirements\n6-8 + years of experience in Solution Architecture or senior-level technical design roles within complex enterprise environments.\n\nDeep experience across Microsoft ecosystems, including Azure architecture, M365, Dynamics, and Power Platform, and/or Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform extensibility.\n\nStrong experience designing enterprise integrations, including REST APIs, middleware platforms, event-driven architectures, and data pipelines.\n\nDemonstrated experience architecting scalable, secure, multi-system enterprise solutions.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise transformation or modernization initiatives.\n\nStrong understanding of cloud-native design principles and distributed systems.\n\nExperience working within governance-driven or portfolio-managed delivery environments.\n\nAbility to communicate architectural decisions clearly to both executive and technical audiences.\n\nAzure Solutions Architect Expert, Salesforce Architect, or comparable certifications preferred.\n\nExperience designing data models and understanding enterprise data architecture principles preferred.\n\nExposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code concepts preferred.\n\nExperience in asset-intensive, infrastructure, or operationally complex industries preferred.\n\nSuccess Profile\nSystems thinker who sees the full enterprise ecosystem, not isolated platforms.\n\nTechnically authoritative but collaborative in approach.\n\nStrong decision-maker who balances speed with architectural integrity.\n\nComfortable operating in high-growth, evolving environments.\n\nDetail-oriented, with a long-term scalability mindset.\n\nPhysical Demands and Special Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
