Your work will help connect mission needs to engineering decisions, advancing space systems that deter threats and deliver critical information to the warfighter.\nAs an MBSE Engineer, you’ll bring digital models, system architectures, and technical requirements together to support the acquisition and development of these capabilities. You’ll work alongside government customers and multidisciplinary teams to understand complex systems, evaluate design tradeoffs, and solve integration challenges across the product lifecycle.\nWithin This Role, You Will\nCreate, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models from initial concept through the product lifecycle.\nDevelop and maintain system architectures, technical specifications, interface control documents, and requirements relationships using MBSE methods and tools.\nApply systems engineering expertise to evaluate design alternatives and develop practical solutions to complex technical challenges.\nSupport design reviews, requirements verification, and coordination across engineering and program teams.\nIndependently execute assigned technical work, identify issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to move solutions forward.\nShare technical knowledge and mentor teammates as appropriate to your experience.\nYour technical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail will help turn mission requirements into well-integrated space sensing capabilities.\nQualifications:\nSecret clearance\nBachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field\n5+ years of experience with large-scale missions and systems engineering and integration\n3+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems\n3+ years of experience with practical MBSE for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody\nAbility to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification \nAbility to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTS/SCI clearance\nMaster’s degree in Engineering\nOMG Certified Systems Model Professional (OCSMP) Certification\nINCOSE SE Certification\nExperience with Model-Based Verification and Validation\nExperience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter\nExperience analyzing and translating system requirements into design\nKnowledge of Systems Machine Learning (SysML) and DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)\nAbility to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions \nClearance: Secret\nThe position will require at least 2-3x per week on site.
