Join us to help address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.\nThe analyst will perform foundational GIS tasks using ArcGIS. Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, and HTML is preferred but not required.\nResponsibilities:\nCreate and edit geospatial layers derived from internal and external sources.\nPerform common GIS tasks to build new layers and update existing ones.\nApply foundational knowledge of topology and data attribution.\nCollect, enrich, and aggregate open-source data to create geospatial datasets.\nWork with vector and raster data.\nHelp ensure datasets are accurate and spatially represented in a manner consistent with applicable Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards.\nUse coding environments to support geospatial tasks.\nCollaborate as an integrated member of an analytic team with colleagues from multiple disciplines.\n Required Qualifications\nU.S. citizenship.\nKnowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including geoprocessing, data management, and data attribution.\nExperience with ArcGIS or ArcGIS Pro, including relevant extensions, for data analysis and map production.\nExperience aggregating and manipulating spatial data, including vector and raster formats.\nAbility and willingness to learn new skills in support of team objectives and professional development.\n Preferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in any field; current students and candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered.\nDegree or certification in a geospatial discipline.\nExperience processing and analyzing remote sensing data.\nStrong imagery analysis experience, including SAR and electro-optical (EO) imagery.\nFamiliarity with Python, SQL, and HTML.\nFamiliarity with other GIS tools, such as NV5 and SOCET.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.\nPay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.
