Employment for cleared roles is contingent upon verification of clearance status.\n\nExport Control/ITAR: Certain roles may be subject to U.S. export control laws, requiring U.S. person status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).\nPlease review the job details below.\nThis position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level.\nWe are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to support the development, integration, and sustainment of data analytics applications and capabilities for a large-scale U.S. Government data analytics platform. The successful candidate will design and develop user-facing applications, back-end services, and APIs that enable users to access, explore, visualize, and analyze large and complex datasets.\nThe engineer will work closely with data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and government stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into intuitive, scalable, and secure software solutions. The role emphasizes developing interactive data analytics applications, integrating analytical models and data services, and delivering user-friendly capabilities that help users derive actionable insights from diverse data sources.\nPrincipal Responsibilities:\nFull-Stack Application Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain interactive web applications and supporting back-end services that enable data exploration, analysis, visualization, and reporting. \nData Analytics Application Integration: Integrate data sources, analytical models, data processing services, and APIs into user-facing applications to support advanced analytics workflows and mission requirements. \nData Visualization and User Experience: Develop interactive dashboards, visualizations, search interfaces, and analytical tools that allow users to explore large datasets, identify patterns, and interpret analytical results. \nBack-End Services and API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integrations to support efficient data access, querying, processing, and application functionality. \nAgile Development and Platform Integration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and analytics teams to implement new capabilities, troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support CI/CD, testing, and software deployment activities. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nMust be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance (and willingness to obtain a CI poly).\nBachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field with 8+ years of total professional experience in a technical support role \nDemonstrated experience in full-stack software development, web application engineering, or a related software engineering discipline. \nStrong proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js, and experience developing responsive, interactive web applications. \nProficiency in at least one back-end programming language, such as Python, Java, Go, or C#, with experience developing RESTful APIs, integrating databases, and building server-side applications. \nExperience developing data-driven applications and integrating structured data, analytical services, and visualization capabilities \nWillingness to work onsite 75% (or as needs dictate) from either Herndon, VA or Westminster, CO.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience developing data visualization and analytical applications using tools and frameworks such as D3.js, Plotly, Highcharts, Chart.js, or similar technologies. \nFamiliarity with data analytics and big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Elasticsearch, or related platforms. \nExperience integrating machine learning models, statistical analysis, or AI-enabled capabilities into web applications. \nFamiliarity with cloud platforms and services, particularly AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. \nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. \nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices. \nExperience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch. \nKnowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure software development practices. \nExperience supporting government, defense, intelligence, or other regulated environments. \nPay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.
