Employment for cleared roles is contingent upon verification of clearance status.\n\nExport Control/ITAR: Certain roles may be subject to U.S. export control laws, requiring U.S. person status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).\nPlease review the job details below.\nVantor is seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) background to support the U.S. Space Force in defining, managing, and sustaining an integrated system-of-systems space enterprise. In this role, you will apply MBSE tools, including Cameo, to develop and manage system requirements, establish traceability, link model elements, and generate reports that support program decisions.\nYou will also develop and maintain a Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, ensuring alignment with program objectives and long-term support strategies. As part of the engineering team, you will contribute to knowledge management practices by organizing and maintaining technical documentation within Confluence and Git-based repositories.\nYour customer will rely on you to support architecture, engineering, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities while identifying areas requiring early mitigation. You will grow your skills by researching emerging requirements, technologies, and threats, and by applying innovative engineering methodologies and tools to create mission-focused solutions.\nDue to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.\nQualifications:\nTop Secret clearance\nBachelor's degree in a STEM field\n2+ years of experience developing or defining architectures that integrate MBSE tools, simulation environments, data repositories, and lifecycle management systems\n2+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems\n2+ years of experience with practical MBSE for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody\nAbility to define and maintain the enterprise architecture for a digital engineering ecosystem\nAbility to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTS/SCI clearance\nMaster’s degree in engineering\nExperience with Model-Based Verification and Validation\nExperience analyzing and translating system requirements into design\nKnowledge of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)\nAbility to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions \nOMG Certified Systems Model Professional (OCSMP) Certification\nINCOSE SE Certification\nClearance: Top Secret/SCI Eligible\nWork Location: El Segundo (LAAFB) - primarily on-site (4-5 days/week).\nPay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings.
