This role involves building scalable, high-performance solutions across the full technology stack, including interactive visualization and 3D capabilities. You will work within an Agile team to deliver mission-critical features, improve system architecture, and optimize performance across distributed systems. The position requires strong object-oriented design skills, a performance-focused mindset, and the ability to quickly contribute to complex environments. The ideal candidate is a self-driven engineer who collaborates effectively and thrives in fast-paced, technically challenging settings.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain full stack applications supporting geospatial and Motion GEOINT systems.\nBuild scalable, high-performance software across front-end, back-end, and data layers.\nDevelop interactive visualization and 3D rendering capabilities for GIS and simulation-based applications.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical features and enhancements.\nContribute to system architecture, object-oriented design, and microservices-based solutions.\nOptimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed systems.\nImplement and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and configuration management.\nParticipate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, standups, and code reviews.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments and technology stacks.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMust be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain a CI poly).\n10+ years of full stack software development experience.\nExperience with geospatial applications, including Motion GEOINT data, concepts, and systems.\nStrong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript.\nExperience with modern development practices, including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.\nSolid understanding of object-oriented design principles and distributed systems.\nAbility to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.\nDesired Qualifications:\nExpertise in modern frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, Node.js, Django, or Spring.\nExperience with 3D graphics, visualization, or game engine technologies (e.g., OpenGL, WebGL, Unity, CesiumJS).\nStrong background in geospatial tools and platforms (e.g., PostGIS, GeoServer, ArcGIS, QGIS, Leaflet, Mapbox).\nExperience with big data and distributed processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, GeoWave).\nFamiliarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Chef, Vagrant, automated configuration management).\nExperience with cloud and virtualization technologies (e.g., AWS, VMware, VirtualBox).\nProficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, or SQLite.\nExperience with multithreading, multiprocessing, and high-performance computing.\nKnowledge of mobile development platforms (Android, iOS, Windows).\nStrong UI/UX development experience with a focus on usability and performance.\nDemonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment.\nSelf-motivated, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.\nPay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.
