This role requires a strong mathematical foundation, extensive experience developing computer vision algorithms, and proficiency in modern software engineering practices.\nThe ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with practical software development skills to solve complex real-world problems involving imagery, spatial data, and AI-driven workflows.\nKey Responsibilities\nApply advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to solve complex engineering problems.\nDevelop production-quality software solutions.\nCollaborate with software engineers, geospatial specialists, and product teams to develop scalable solutions.\nAnalyze large datasets and imagery to improve system accuracy and performance.\nParticipate in system design, code reviews, and technical architecture discussions.\nContribute to the development of advanced AI-enabled workflows and engineering practices.\nDesign, develop, and optimize computer vision and image processing algorithms.\nResearch, prototype, and deploy innovative solutions leveraging machine learning and computer vision technologies.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Sciences, or a related technical field.\nMinimum of 3 years of relevant industry or research experience.\nStrong mathematical background with demonstrated ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts to engineering challenges.\nProfessional experience developing computer vision, image processing, or machine learning solutions.\nProgramming skills in Python.\nExperience designing, implementing, and validating complex algorithms.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted software development tools and AI agents used in coding workflows.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts effectively across multidisciplinary teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with geospatial, photogrammetric, or remote sensing applications.\nExperience with machine learning frameworks and modern AI technologies.\nExperience working with cloud-based processing environments.\nExperience transitioning research concepts into production software systems.\nExperience with C++ programming.\nLocation: Westminster, CO. Local candidates are strongly preferred; however, remote candidates will also be considered.\nPay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range.
