In this role, you will perform administrative tasks on primarily Red Hat Linux based operating systems. You will will be responsible for installation and operations of a large suite of open-source technologies that support big data analytics streaming and at scale. In order to be successful in this role, you must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Linux/Unix operating system, DevOps concepts, security distributed systems, and on cloud technologies.\nResponsibilities:\nDeploy highly available, scalable and secure cloud infrastructure with a focus on AWS.\nStrong understanding and administration skills of the AWS platform.\nWork closely with the Development team to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment and configuration of infrastructure.\nResponsible for system maintenance, patching, updates, and data backups.\nInstall, maintain, and patch system applications.\nTroubleshoot system and application-based issues and remediate.\nCoordinate with vendors for technical support, upgrades.\nAnalyze and resolve configuration issues in development, test, and production environments.\nMaintain Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) between the customer network, cloud and other environments.\nParticipate in security compliance efforts.\nResearch, design and recommend application configurations based on security best practices and other program requirements.\nLead the design and implementation of AWS and cluster networking approach.\nPerform continuous monitoring activities, identify lifecycle management, respond to system and security incidents.\nMinimum Requirements:\nPre-existing CBP suitability and/or TS/SCI clearance.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.\n8 years Linux based system administration.\n3 years in administration in cloud-based systems.\nExperience with working on Agile Development teams.\nExperience in provisioning and sustaining network infrastructures.\nExperience in developing and managing secure networks for secure PKI, IPSEC, or VPN enabled environments.\nExperience developing and/or maintaining an ATO (authority to operate)\nDesired Qualifications:\nAWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certified.\nCompTIA Security+ certification or CompTIA Network+ certified.\nCertified in Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).\nCertified Kubernetes ACKA.\nAt least 1 focused AWS Certification such as Security.\nWorking knowledge of DevOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches.\nWorking knowledge of platform as a service (PaaS), virtualized cluster management, and containerization concepts and technologies.\nAdvanced analytical skills: Able to leverage prior experience and knowledge to efficiently and effectively learn new technologies and derive secure technical solutions in a timely manner.\nMust have good written/ verbal communication skills and have experience in working in a collaborative environment.\nExperience or familiarity with the following technologies:Nessus, Prisma, QRadar\nKubernetes\n\nPay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings.
