We need a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with on-prem and cloud expertise to support efforts to manage our OpenShift platform. Join our operations team, where your skills and mission-focused mindset will play a pivotal role in crafting solutions to enable intelligence analysts across a broad national security user base. This is an award-winning team that enjoys unleashing the power of technology for intelligence professionals and warfighters.\nPrincipal Responsibilities:\nLeverage OpenShift and Kubernetes to configure, monitor, and maintain this private cloud environment \nCreate and maintain automated, repeatable environment creation and configuration (Infrastructure as Code) tools such as Ansible, Chef, or similar platforms. \nCreate and maintain automated DevSecOps pipelines using leading open-source offerings, such as Argo CD and GitLab \nMonitor and troubleshoot issues across the technology stack, from bare-metal to applications deployed in OpenShift \nSupport ATO requirements through security control implementation, patching, technical documentation, and remediation of findings \nCommunicate with multidisciplinary SAFe Agile teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nMust be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance (with willingness to obtain a CI poly)\nBachelor's degree in a technical field with 8 years of relevant technical experience, with specific experience in platform operations and automation. Additional years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree\nDemonstrated technical experience with DevSecOps and strong Linux experience required. \nExperience deploying and maintaining applications into a Kubernetes environment, preferably OpenShift \nOpen source and custom application deployments and maintenance experience. \nCapable of working effectively with a geographically distributed ops & development team \nCommunicates effectively with customers and team in written and oral forums \nAbility to work in a SCIF up to 90% of the time, as mission needs require from either Herndon, VA; Westminster, CO; or St. Louis, MO.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSustaining hardware and software on IC or DoD networks \nDistributed systems, REST APIs, microservices, or IaaS/PaaS \nDeveloping and deploying web services \nSupporting open-source software in government environments \nMaintaining backend GIS platforms \nICD 503 compliance \nBig data technologies such as Elasticsearch, Accumulo, Spark, Hive, or Hadoop \nHybrid cloud and on-premises architectures \nData visualization, data management, data integration, user interfaces, or databases \nCompTIA Security+ or a comparable certification for privileged access \nExperience supporting military or intelligence missions, or familiarity with TCPED systems, is also a plus. \nPay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.
