Our solutions require innovative approaches that integrate bespoke capabilities and tools to solve our customers most complex challenges. We’re seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to support work across the full analytical workflow. Technical tasks include ELT, managing, analyzing, and enrichment of large geospatial data sets to extract meaningful knowledge with cloud-based processing technologies and emerging AI/ML techniques.\nWe want a self-motivated engineer who is comfortable digging into data, trying innovative approaches, and isn't afraid to fail fast and move on to other techniques/ideas.\nResponsibilities: \nDesign and implement efficient, flexible solutions that can scale for mission critical applications. \nActive in all aspects of the development lifecycle, including planning, requirements development, software design, implementation and build, documentation, testing, deployment and maintenance. \nApply software standards and processes to produce high quality, extensible, and maintainable software solutions. \nWork with cloud tech stacks to perform data extraction, manipulation, transformation; visualization of geospatial-temporal data sets \nDevelop analytics/derivative data products to help users extract meaningful knowledge \nProactive approach to trouble shooting and problem-solving issues \nCollaborate with diverse teams of engineers, clients, and users \nMinimum Qualifications:\nUS citizenship and a current TS/SCI clearance (with willingness to get a CI Polygraph). \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technology fields \n3+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience \n5+ years experience in one or more general-purpose programming language(s) (Python, Java, Go, Rust, etc.) \nExperience with data extraction, manipulation, visualization, and analysis of large datasets \nExperience designing and supporting cloud-based architectures, including AWS and C2S environments \nExperience working with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, in cloud or hybrid environments \nDemonstrated ability to lead small engineering teams and work both independently and collaboratively \nStrong problem-solving mindset and adaptability, with the ability to leverage emerging technologies to solve mission challenges \nFamiliarity with modern software development tools, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines \nPreferred Qualifications:\nDesign, develop, and deploy AI-native software products that transform large-scale geospatial data into actionable intelligence and mission-critical insights. \nExperience working with NoSQL data stores such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or similar technologies \nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously \nExperience with designing and implementing a wide variety of geospatial trajectory processing, analysis (e.g., forecasting), and visualization approaches \nExperience designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI/ML or CV models across diverse data types \nPay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.
