Our business is fueled by delivering tangible value to our customers, and we neednewteam memberspartnerwhowant todrive makingthat happen.\nResponsibilities: A day in the life/What the position will be doing:\nInterface withexistingVantor Raptor customersworldwide tocoordinate on integration of Raptor softwareintotheirsystems architecture.Provide advice andguidance based onrigorousproductknowledgeandinstitutional experiencebasefrompastintegrations.\n\nTravel tocustomer sitestodeliver technical product expertise.\n\nCharacterizeproduct software performanceof customer implementationsandderive/capturetechnicalrequirements forfeature improvementsor additions.\n\nAssist customerswithfield integration testing, including configuration of Jetson and raspberry Pi series companion computers, autopilot stacks (PX4,ArduPilot) and analysis of telemetry, imagery, and positioning data.\n\nAssist ingeneratingengineeringtechnical designsinvolvingtheuse ofsatellite imagery and full motion videoto accomplishUAS visual positioning, odometry, and navigation.\n\nDevelop,documentand conveytechnical and system requirementstoproduct engineering team.\n\nWork withinproduct engineeringteam development process tomake code contributions.\n\nCommunicate and collaborate across product, engineering, andGTM/salesteams to define and validate interfaces and data flows betweenRaptorproducts and OEM systems.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Math) or equivalent practical experience.\n\nExperience supporting ISR, UAS, aerospace, or defense system integrations\n\nStrong programming skills in C, C++, Python, shell scripting\n\nExperience with cross-compilation and toolchains\n\nGood understanding of embedded systems, SoCs, and SBCs\n\nHands-on experience with low-level Linux (troubleshooting, configuration, e.g., kernel device drivers, library dependencies)\n\nExperience in system design across hardware and software\n\nKnowledge of networking and communication protocols (e.g., serial, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi)\n\nExperience in customer-facing roles, support, and solution design\n\nStrong communication skills and sound judgment in customer communication\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in engineering, Computer Vision, Software Engineering or a related technical field\n\nVideo formats and streaming protocols (e.g., MPEG-TS, MP4, RTSP)\n\nExperience with multimedia frameworks (e.g.,FFmpeg,GStreamer)\n\nExperience withGISsystems,use cases, andsoftwaretools\n\nImage processing and computer vision\n\nPractical exposure tocameras and optics (e.g., lens models, calibration, distortion)\n\nUnderstanding ofaerial navigation (e.g., filtering, control theory, 3D spatial math)\n\nExperience withUAS/UAVhardware and software(e.g., electromechanics, PX4,ArduPilot)\n\nExperience with embedded Linux / edge compute platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm-based SoCs, Raspberry Pi)\n\nStrategic and business-aware mindset\n\nStructured and pedagogical mindset\n\nPay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings.
