Vantor is an American space intelligence company created in 2025 when Maxar Technologies split its Earth imaging business from its satellite manufacturing arm and renamed it. It operates one of the largest commercial high-resolution imaging constellations, sells satellite imagery, three-dimensional terrain data and analytics to defence, intelligence and government customers, and holds long-running United States government imagery contracts. Headquartered in Westminster, Colorado and owned by Advent International, it competes with the newer smallsat operators while retaining the archive and geospatial accuracy built up over decades.

Vantor is forging the new frontier of spatial intelligence, helping decision makers and operators navigate what’s happening now and shape what’s coming next. Vantor is a place for problem solvers, changemakers, and go-getters-where people are working together to help our customers see the world differently, and in doing so, be seen differently. Come be part of a mission, not just a job, where you can: Shape your own future, build the next big thing, and change the world.

To be eligible for this position, you must be a U.S. Citizen. This position requires an active U.S. Government security clearance, applicants who do not currently hold the required clearance will not be eligible for consideration. Employment for cleared roles is contingent upon verification of clearance status.

Export Control/ITAR: Certain roles may be subject to U.S. export control laws, requiring U.S. person status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

At Vantor, we transform data from space into mission advantage. Working alongside the U.S. Space Force and mission partners, you’ll help develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities.

As a hybrid Systems Engineer and Acquisition Logistics Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in moving advanced space-sensing capabilities from concept to mission-ready systems. You’ll develop and execute integration plans for space and ground systems, leading activities across the system-of-systems, system, segment, and element levels. You’ll test, analyze, evaluate, verify, and validate system performance-identifying risks early, driving urgent mitigation, and applying advanced technology solutions to solve complex mission challenges.

You’ll research emerging requirements, technologies, and threats while helping shape the policies, processes, and documentation that govern system life cycles and sustainment. Drawing on your knowledge of DoD acquisition and sustainment guidance, including DoDI 5000.02, you’ll collaborate with data analysts, financial managers, systems engineers, logisticians, and other cross-functional experts to ensure programs are aligned, supportable, and ready to deliver for the mission.

This role is built for someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to see their work make a direct impact on national security. Your technical expertise, communication skills, curiosity, and attention to detail will help define how advanced remote-sensing systems are acquired, integrated, and sustained.

Join Vantor and help create the future of military remote sensing. Join our team and create the future of Remote Sensing in the Space Force.
