related to the onshore construction and/or offshore installation activities.\nBeing conversant with the Scope of Work, Contract Specifications and Requirements, Project Schedules and Material/Equipment delivery status.\nReview the lessons learned database to identify lessons that can be used on the project.\nProvide input to the Project Execution Plan.\nCoordinate all constructability and/or installation reviews.\nReview all technical procedures related to the project such as erection, lay-out, lifting, load out, sea fastening and offshore installation activities.\nReview the project plan along with the project planner and assisting in the preparation of subcontract package for any work that requires being outsourced.\nCoordinate and ensure that engineering and associated draft works are carried out by the respective operational personnel in accordance with the specifications and schedule.\nDirect the detailing/drafting department on the prioritized issue of construction and/or installation drawings and authorization of the respective drawings and as built drawings.\nEnsure that lessons are progressively input to the Lessons Learned Database throughout the project.\nActively promote and ensure all procedures, subordinates and subcontractors comply with Company Policies and Procedures.\nEnsure that adequate engineering personnel and equipment resources are assigned to operations under his supervision.\nReview and approve installation procedures and engineering to ensure they meet project minimum requirements and follow good engineering practice and enabling work to be performed safely.\nSupervise Operation/Field Engineers in their planning and execution of offshore project.\nSupervise Operation/Field Engineers during the preparation of material lists for construction materials and liaise with the Procurement Coordinator for procurement of requirements in a timely manner.\nResolve any technical problems that arise during offshore installation and assist in any corrective action that is required.\nAdvise design engineers of offshore operations requirements regarding installation aids, installation methods and installation criteria during the design phase of a project and coordinate other engineering matters with respect to Division requirements.\nProvide and coordinate input to the tender process as required.\nQUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS\nDegree in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum/Marine Engineering from recognised Higher Learning Institution.\nRELEVANT EXPERIENCE\nPossess at least five (5) years working experience as field engineer, four (4) years working experience as senior field engineer and three (3) years working experience as operations engineer.\nPossess project experience in various type of contract such as T&I and EPCIC.\nRegistered with Board of Engineering Malaysia (BEM).\nPossess experience in most of offshore transportation and installation, methodology and execution.\nFamiliar with costing and pricing of offshore installation methodology and execution to ensure practical and economical approach.\nFamiliar with offshore transportation & installation software e.g. MOSES, SACS, Orcaflex, StaadPro, OFFPIPE, ANSYS & AutoCAD.\nWell-versed in relevant Engineering industry codes such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, DnV, Noble Denton-GLM.\nStrong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.\nPossess good leadership quality and able to manage a team.\nPossess good interpersonal and communication skills and is able to liaise with various departments and Clients.\nWell-versed in Clients’ technical specifications.\nGood analytical skills.\nFamiliar with content of Contract for assigned projects.\nProactive attitude and pay attention to details.\nDisciplined and punctual.\nGood in resource planning and is able to work under tight schedule as well as limited
