The role
You will originate, structure and close complex B2B deals with large industrial and commercial customers, owning each opportunity from market identification to closure. This is a builder's role in an emerging market: you will create the pipeline, shape the commercial models and work closely with our technical, finance and legal teams to deliver.
What you will do
Identify and originate high-value opportunities in new and nascent markets, and build a qualified pipeline of senior customer relationships.
Own deals end to end: qualification, solution development, commercial structuring, negotiation and closure.
Develop and negotiate commercial proposals, term sheets, long-term contracts, operating models, JVs and strategic partnerships.
Translate technical concepts, site operations, economics, offtake structures and financing into compelling commercial propositions.
Engage with business leaders, CXOs, promoters and government officials through long sales cycles.
Track how policy and regulatory developments affect customer economics, and turn them into commercial opportunities.
Coordinate internal technical, finance and legal teams to move deals forward.
What we are looking for
6 to 8 years of experience in B2B enterprise sales or business development, with a proven record of originating, developing and closing complex, multi-crore deals with large industrial and commercial customers.
Strong techno-commercial ability and comfort discussing technical details, economics, offtake structures and financing with relevant stakeholders.
Hands-on experience in deal structuring and negotiation across proposals, term sheets, long-term contracts, JVs and other structured arrangements.
Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline in an emerging or nascent market.
Understanding of how regulation shapes customer economics.
An entrepreneurial, high-ownership mindset: proactive, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity and quick to learn.
Good to have
Engineering degree, ideally complemented by an MBA or equivalent commercial experience.
Experience in energy, infrastructure, climate or decarbonization, or other complex B2B sectors.
Experience in a high-growth or entrepreneurial environment, particularly building nascent markets.
