This role is responsible for coordinating day to day inventory activities, ensuring timely and accurate part fulfillment to production, and leading a small team of inventory associates. The ideal candidate has hands on manufacturing or materials experience and is ready to grow into a leadership role.Job Description\nKey Responsibilities\nLead daily operations within the inventory cage supporting production lines\nEnsure accurate and on-time delivery of materials and components to manufacturing cells\nAssign tasks and coordinate workflow for inventory team members\nMonitor inventory levels and alert leadership to shortages, potential line impacts, or material constraints\nPerform and oversee inventory transactions, cycle counts, and audits to maintain system accuracy\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies and support root cause and corrective actions\nWork closely with Production, Materials, and Planning teams to prioritize line needs\nMaintain organization, 5S standards, and safety compliance within the cage area\nTrain team members on material handling procedures, inventory systems, and production support processes\nAct as a point of contact for material issues when the supervisor is unavailable\nSupport continuous improvement efforts to improve material flow and reduce production disruptions\nQualifications\n1-3 years of experience in manufacturing inventory, materials, or production support\nPrior experience leading a shift, work cell, or small team preferred\nUnderstanding of material flow in a manufacturing environment\nExperience with ERP, MRP, or WMS systems preferred\nFamiliarity with lean manufacturing concepts (Kanban, 5S, pull systems) a plus\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work with urgency\nEffective communication skills across production and support teams\nSkills & Competencies\nDeveloping leadership and coaching skills\nProblem-solving with a production-first mindset\nAbility to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nBasic computer skills (ERP systems, Excel, scanners)\nAbility to meet physical requirements of the role (standing, lifting, material handling)\nWhy Join Us\nOpportunity to gain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment\nDirect impact on production efficiency and line up time\nPathway to senior materials or supervisor roles\nSupportive team culture focused on development and continuous improvement\nENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nEnvironment and Physical Demands\nEmployee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.\nLifting requirements: Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally lift and/or move heavier loads with mechanical assistance or a teammate.\nPhysical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and reach continuously for the duration of an 8- to 10-hour shift.\nOverhead Lifting: Capable of lifting items above shoulder level and retrieving stock from high racking systems safely.\nRepetitive Motion: Comfortable performing repetitive lifting tasks and maintaining physical stamina under varying warehouse temperatures.\nProper Technique: Employees are required to bend at the knees, keep the back straight, and lift with the legs to prevent workplace injuries.\nTime Type:\nFull timeJob Type:\nRegularWork Shift:\nLead -
