Avenue K, Grand Prairie, TX 75050\nWORK HOURS: Monday - Friday 4:00am - 12:30pm (OT as needed and during peak season Jun-Dec).\nHOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:\nOur BSN Sports Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for selecting and preparing products for shipment in a warehouse setting.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\nReceiving and reviewing pick sheets, work orders, and other shipping documents to determine items to be picked and packed.\nLocating and retrieving items from their designated storage areas within the warehouse using handheld devices or picking carts.\nChecking product quality and quantity, ensuring that they follow the order specifications.\nPackaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment to customers, including accurately completing required shipping documentation.\nKeeping accurate inventory records of items picked and packed and reporting any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor.\nMaintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient operations.\nOperating various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, and following all safety procedures.\nCommunicating effectively with other warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nKNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.\nPhysical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and move around the warehouse.\nOverall, a Warehouse carousel picker plays a critical role in ensuring that products are accurately picked and shipped to customers in a timely and efficient manner.\nCommunicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.\nParticipate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.\nAbility to work seasonal mandatory OT as needed\nMust be able to pass background check.\nEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:\nHS Diploma or GED (required)\n1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting\nPreference will be given to candidates with previous related experience\nLearn tasks quickly, is detailed, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance\nMust be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
