You will drive the development and execution of human-rated vehicle processes as Haven-1 transitions from design to a flight-ready station.\nThis will be a full-time, exempt position located in ourLong Beach, CA location. \nResponsibilities: \nSupport operations with Integration Technicians and supporting Engineering REs\nBe a permanent engineering presence to ensure operations are unblocked and to find solutions to keep work moving if blockers or Non Conformances arise\nPlan, schedule, prepare, coordinate, direct, and exercise functional authority for completion of tests\nCollaborate with the distributed engineering organizations to define and manage test plans, requirements, and schedules\nEnsure integration procedures are continuously evolving to reflect the most efficient assembly practices\nDevelop, qualify, and refine manufacturing processes to meet all requirements including safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery\nCollaborate with other engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to solve complex production issues\nSenior Level: Act as test director and provide status updates and run handoff and other tag-ups\nDocument and provide resolution to non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team to implement root cause corrective actions\nMinimum Qualifications:\nB.S. in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing or electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related technical field\nManufacturing experience (including internships) managing a product/product line across multiple work centers and/or departments, fluid, pressurized, propulsion, or environmental control hardware in design, manufacturing, or test\n2-4+ years of experience for Manufacturing Engineer II\n4-6+ years of experience for Senior Manufacturing Engineer\nHands-on fabrication, assembly, and/or integration experience; CAD proficiency (NX preferred)\nPreferred Skills & Experience:\nHands-on experience building or testing hardware, in industry or through student teams such as Formula SAE, rocketry, CubeSat, or robotics\nExperience with aerospace, spacecraft, propulsion, or other safety-critical or high-reliability hardware\nExperience taking designs or processes from concept through build or test, and from R&D to production\nFamiliarity with CAD tools, ideally Siemens NX, and PLM tools such as Teamcenter\nExposure to thermal or structural analysis using Ansys, or similar tools\nAwareness of aerospace workmanship, design, and environmental test standards such as IPC, SMC-S-016, NASA-STD-5001, or MIL-STD-810\nProficiency applying GD&T\nStrong problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting and structured root cause analysis\nStrong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work well in cross-functional teams\nSenior Level: experience mentoring engineers or technicians and managing multiple projects at once\nAdditional Requirements:\nWillingness to work evenings and/or weekends to support critical mission milestones\nPay Ranges:\nEngineer/ Level I: $86,100.00 - $122,220.00\nEngineer/ Level II: $112,340.00 - $159,468.00\nSenior Engineer/ Level III: $137,760.00 - $195,552.00\nWe calibrate level and compensation to the selected candidate's experience and demonstrated capability.
