This covers all aspects of project progression and design from initial concept to environmental survey, detailed design, planning submission, procurement, route to market and financing, and, finally, developing a business case for a final investment decision.\nThis is an opportunity to be a key part of the design team bringing forward new British wind projects which will power our lives with fossil-free electricity.\nMain responsibilities:\nTo support Onshore Wind Development Project Managers and project teams by delivering internal and external milestones and approvals for development phase (pre-construction) onshore wind projects in Great Britain. \nMaintain control over key project management documents and processes, such as project timelines, project management plans, risk registers, stakeholder matrices, budgets and more. \nTo lead specific onshore wind design-related workstreams as delegated by a project manager, this might include, for example, drafting a stakeholder engagement plan, overseeing ecological survey activities, or managing civil engineering design of an onshore wind project. \nCreate and maintain good long-term relationships with other Vattenfall departments and external consultants involved in the projects \nHelp promote a safety conscious, professional team \nCommunicate with landowners, public officials and other local stakeholders. \n Self-starter, work independently and be creative/solution oriented \nAsk for help and guidance when needed and think beyond the task at hand \nTeam player, proactive and work well under pressure \nFuent in English, both written and spoken \nHigh levels of energy & commitment to deliver \nBasic project management knowledge \nAbility to adapt easily to different environments (political stakeholders, farmers, government officials, business partners) and manage these different settings \nGood communication skills, report writing, analytical and presentational skills \nGood IT skills and competent ay using Office 365 suite \n Our offer\nGood remuneration, a challenging and international work environment, and the possibility to work with some of the best in the field.
