Warehouse Assistant (Runner) (1 Year Contract - Renewable)

Purpose: The Warehouse Assistant (Runner) is responsible for the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring that materials and products are delivered to the appropriate locations accurately and in a timely manner. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

• Retrieve and transport materials, parts, and equipment within the warehouse and production areas as needed.
• Assist with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Support the warehouse team in organizing and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Prepare items for shipment or storage, ensuring proper packaging and labeling procedures are followed.
• Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accuracy.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift License is required.
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
