The engineering team will focus on two areas: product and process (co)development. A team of 7 multidisciplinary engineers will work closely together to achieve this, each with their own expertise in a specific field. Are you ready to take on this challenge?\nAs an Automation Engineer within this Engineering team, your responsibilities include:\nDesigning battery production systems that meet the specified functional requirements and comply with all applicable regulations.\nAutomation design of production lines for battery systems, including software and PLC.\nEnsuring that the automation works as designed, demonstrated through functional tests and test runs.\nTaking actions to achieve more standardization and simplifications in design.\nProviding support to the engineering and production team.\nCoordinating and programming the commissioning of automation.\nImplementing improvements and new functionalities in the current production lines.\nYour strength\nPreferably a Master's degree (or Bachelor's degree supplemented with relevant work experience in battery development) in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering.\nExperience in engineering roles (internship experience is also relevant).\nExperience with automation engineering (PLC programming, robotics, SCADA) and knowledge.\nExperience in Siemens TIA-portal.\nAutomation and programming projects from requirement to physical installation.
