This team is responsible for our flagship Console product, company website, and Vectara UI React component library.\nYou will work closely with our Head of Front-End Engineering and UX-a hybrid designer/engineer-and a product-focused team of front-end engineers. You will own strategic technical and architectural decisions and shape our rigorous engineering culture, with meaningful autonomy and direct impact on how our customers use and benefit from our product.\nWhat you’ll work on\nYou’ll team up with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to implement broad enhancements and new features in the UI of our flagship Console product. You’ll independently seek out and propose improvements that will unlock growth and enable productivity. \nBeyond Console, you’ll partner with cross-functional leaders such as Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Growth Marketing, and seek ways to apply your skills to their problems in these sibling domains. You’ll help these folks build the front-ends for demos, OSS projects, and marketing materials.\nWhat we’re looking for\nWe are open to both mid-level and senior candidates. Senior engineers will be given greater autonomy and strategic responsibility.\nCore skills and experience\nYou’re effective with TypeScript and React.\nYou communicate clearly and effectively in writing.\nYou’re comfortable solving ambiguous problems with a methodical approach.\nYou seize the initiative and find problems to solve.
