The person in this role will help ensure MARMC contract performance, workforce readiness, quality, and customer satisfaction while also working with maritime leaders to understand operational challenges and identify practical ways Vectrona’s services, processes, and technologies can improve performance.\nThe role is designed for someone who understands the maritime maintenance environment, takes ownership of outcomes, builds strong customer relationships, and can turn complex operational challenges into meaningful solutions.\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities:\nMARMC Program Management\nServe as Vectrona’s primary program management representative for the MARMC contract\nCoordinate with government representatives, company leadership, employees, and subcontractors\nManage contract performance, staffing, quality, schedules, deliverables, reporting, and compliance\nLead contract transition, workforce onboarding, personnel readiness, and subcontractor coordination\nProvide leadership and administrative support to assigned personnel\nMonitor contract execution, identify risks, coordinate corrective actions, and elevate issues when needed\nCoordinate with Vectrona leadership and corporate support functions to ensure effective program administration and performance\nMaritime Customer Solutions\nIdentify operational, workforce, and technical challenges affecting Navy maintenance organizations, shipyards, ship repair companies, and other maritime customers\nBuild relationships with maritime leaders and industry stakeholders to better understand customer priorities and performance challenges\nWork with Vectrona’s technical and operational teams to develop practical solutions integrating services, processes, and technologies, including ACE-XR and VoxC2\nSupport customer engagement plans, demonstrations, pilot projects, and solution proposals\nHelp develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of maritime customer opportunities\nEvaluate customer needs, potential value, feasibility, and acquisition pathways\nCoordinate customer engagement activities, opportunity assessments, and progress reporting with the Director of Customer Solutions\nRequired Education and Experience:\nDemonstrated program management or leadership experience in Navy maintenance, ship repair, shipbuilding, or comparable maritime operations\nStrong understanding of maritime industrial operations, workforce requirements, and maintenance and repair challenges\nExperience managing government service contracts, including personnel, subcontractors, performance requirements, and customer relationships\nAbility to engage operational stakeholders, evaluate customer problems, and contribute to practical solution development\nStrong communication, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills\nAbility to work effectively across government, industry, operational, and technical teams\nAbility to meet applicable citizenship, security clearance, and facility access requirements\nPreferred Education and Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent military and industry experience\nNavy maintenance leadership experience or established relationships within the maritime industrial community\nPMP certification or comparable program management training\nActive Secret clearance\nFamiliarity with workforce development, training systems, modeling and simulation, immersive technologies, or technology-enabled operational solutions\nWhat Success Looks Like:\nSuccess in this role means the MARMC contract is well led, properly staffed, compliant, and delivering strong performance for the customer. Employees and subcontractors have the leadership and support they need, risks are identified early, and issues are addressed with sound judgment and clear communication.\nSuccess also means building trusted relationships across the maritime community, understanding meaningful customer challenges, and helping Vectrona develop practical solutions and qualified opportunities that create value.\nThe right person will bring ownership, strong maritime knowledge, customer focus, sound judgment, and the ability to balance contract performance with longer-term solution development.\nThe position reports to Vectrona’s Director of Services Solutions for MARMC program management, operational administration, and personnel matters. For Maritime Customer Solutions responsibilities, the individual works under the direction of the Director of Customer Solutions.
