This role bridges customer business requirements with Veeam’s technology, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices, while also supporting partner-driven implementations. \nThe position involves technical leadership, customer consultation, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver successful outcomes-particularly for large enterprise customers undergoing digital transformation. \nBeyond direct design and delivery, the Enterprise Architect develops reference architectures and design guidelinesthat standardize deployments across both customer-led and partner-led projects. Additionally, they collaborate with pre-sales teamsto ensure a smooth transition from initial solution design to implementation. \nWhat You’ll Do\nTechnical Discovery & Analysis \nConduct technical discovery sessionswith customers to assess their existing IT landscape and requirements. \nIdentify opportunities for improvementand architecture enhancementsbased on Veeam solutions. \nSolution Design, Documentation & Reference Architectures \nDesign both high-level and detailed solution architecturestailored to customer environments. \nCreate low-level design documentsand detailed technical specificationsto guide implementation teams. \nDevelop and maintain reference architecturesto standardize solution deployments across both direct customer implementations and partner-led projects. \nPrepare comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation plans \nEnsure solution designs adhere to security, compliance, and scalability best practices. \nProject Definition & Estimation \nWork with Project Managers and stakeholdersto define project scope, deliverable, timelines, and resource requirements. \nProvide level-of-effort estimationsto support project planning and resource allocation. \nImplementation Support & Technical Leadership \nProvide technical oversightduring solution deployment and post-sales implementation. \nAssist in proof-of-concept (PoC) projectsand technical workshops to validate solution architectures. \nSupport and guide partner-driven deployments, ensuring they follow Veeam’s best practices and technical standards. \nSupport troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex implementation challenges. \nCollaboration & Stakeholder Engagement \nWork closely with Pre-Sales, Sales, and Customer Success teamsto ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales engagements to deployment. \nEngage with customers, partners, and internal teamsto ensure successful solution adoption. \nServe as a trusted technical advisor, translating business objectives into effective technical strategies. \nCommunicate technical details effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders \nContinuous Improvement & Technology Innovation \nEvaluate emerging technologies(especially in containers, security, and hybrid cloud) to enhance solution architectures. \nContribute to the development and update of internal best practices and technical standards. improving delivery efficiency and partner enablement. \nWhat You’ll Bring\nIT experience, includingin a solution architecture or technical leadership role. \nDeep expertise in data protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and cybersecurity. \nHands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and container securityin enterprise environments. \nStrong technical knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and storage systems. \nA record of leading transformation projects for large enterprise customers, ensuring technical solutions support business-wide digital evolution. \nStrong understanding of networking, security, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.), and IT governance. \nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillswith a strong ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nExperience working in a post-sales consulting, professional services, or solution delivery rolewith direct customer engagement \nBonus Skills\nTOGAF (or equivalent enterprise architecture certification) . \nVeeam VMCE . \nExperience with automation & scripting (PowerShell, Python). \nFamiliarity with large-scale IT infrastructure deployments. \nProven ability to work autonomously and drive innovation. \nStrong Database skills including Database administration expertise will be preferred. \nWhat You’ll Get \n15 to 21 annual vacation days (based on role level), plus 4 extra global VeeaMe Days for self-care and 24 paid volunteer hours annually through Veeam Cares\nPrivate medical plan for employees and eligible dependents, including major medical, hospital, surgical, and outpatient coverage\nDental insurance with comprehensive coverage for employees and dependents\nAnnual wellbeing allowance for health and wellness support\nLife and accident insurance for added financial protection\nOpportunities to learn and grow through on-demand libraries (LinkedIn Learning, O’Reilly), mentoring, workshops, and learning events like our annual Global Day of Learning\nVeeam Software is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination in any form on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state or local law.
