Operating with a high degree of autonomy within defined frameworks, this role owns end-to-end delivery execution across onboarding, implementation, consulting, and technical advisory engagements, ensuring predictable outcomes, strong customer experience, and delivery quality.\nThis role owns project timelines, coordinates cross-functional and partner resources, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high quality standard. In addition to deployment projects, the role manages customer infrastructure and Veeam product Health Check engagements, ensuring customers receive structured, well-governed assessments of their environments and clear, actionable outcomes. The Senior Professional Services Project Manager partners closely with Solution Architects, Technical Account Managers, Support, Sales, Customer Success, and partners to keep engagements on track, aligned to business goals, and to drive customer value realization and Professional Services growth.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProject & Program Delivery\nManage the end-to-end lifecycle of Veeam product deployment projects and professional services engagements, including scoping, planning, execution, and closure.\nOwn delivery of professional services engagements, including onboarding, implementation, consulting, and technical advisory.\nManage multi-workstream engagements, building and maintaining project timelines, milestones, resource plans, and dependencies, proactively identifying and resolving schedule risks.\nEstablish and enforce project governance, including status reporting, change control, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, and steering committee cadence.\nProvide technical oversight across data protection, virtualization, and cloud environments throughout the engagement lifecycle.\nCustomer & Stakeholder Engagement\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the engagement lifecycle, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria.\nBuild strong stakeholder relationships across customers, partners, and internal teams, driving alignment and accountability for delivery outcomes.\nSupport rollout plans, enablement, and adoption activities to help customers realize value from their engagements.\nIdentify and support follow-on opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Customer Success.\nHealth Check & Infrastructure Assessment Management\nPlan and manage Customer Infrastructure and Veeam Product Health Check projects, coordinating technical resources and ensuring assessments are delivered on schedule.\nTrack findings and recommendations from Health Check engagements through to customer sign-off and, where applicable, follow-on remediation or project scoping.\nCross-Functional Coordination\n\nCoordinate and manage partner resources engaged on deployment projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, quality standards, and delivery timelines.\nCoordinate across Technical Account Managers, Solution Architects, Support, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure smooth transitions between pre-sales, delivery, and post-deployment support.\nSupport Veeam Cyber Secure (VCS) programs as required.\nGovernance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement\nManage project budgets, resource allocation, and utilization in coordination with Professional Services leadership.\nIdentify and escalate project risks, scope changes, and resource conflicts to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.\nMaintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting notes, closure documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.\nContribute to and drive continuous improvement of delivery playbooks, methodologies, templates, and governance practices across the PS/CS organization.\nTeam Development\n\nMentor junior team members and share best practices to support standardization of delivery processes across the team.\nWhat You’ll Bring\n3+ years of experience managing technology deployment, infrastructure, or professional services engagements, ideally within a software, backup/recovery, or data management vendor or partner organization.\nDemonstrated experience managing project timelines, budgets, and governance frameworks for external customer-facing engagements.\nExperience coordinating third-party, partner, and cross-functional resources (e.g., Technical Account Managers, Solution Architects, Support, Sales) as part of engagement delivery.\nWorking technical knowledge of data protection, virtualization, and cloud environments sufficient to provide delivery oversight.\nStrong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches).\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at varying levels of technical and business seniority.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.\nBachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.\nBusiness level of Japanese fluency\nBonus Skills\nPMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.\nWorking knowledge of Veeam products, or experience with backup, recovery, or data protection solutions.\nExperience managing infrastructure assessment or Health Check-style engagements.\nExperience working within a Professional Services or Customer Success organization at a technology vendor.\nExperience mentoring team members and contributing to delivery playbooks and methodologies.\nWhat You’ll Get\n\nPaid annual leave
