This role bridges the gap between solution design and hands-on delivery: translating customer requirements and pre-sales designs into a detailed implementation plan, and then executing that plan to a successful, production-ready outcome. The role works closely with Project Managers, Sales Engineers, Customer Success Engineers, and Technical Account Managers to ensure Veeam solutions are architected soundly, implemented correctly, and positioned for long-term customer success.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign detailed, technically sound Veeam solution architectures based on customer requirements, existing infrastructure, and best practices.\nLead the technical implementation and configuration of Veeam products within customer environments, from initial setup through production cutover.\nTranslate high-level pre-sales designs into detailed low-level design (LLD) documentation, including sizing, configuration standards, and architecture diagrams.\nValidate infrastructure prerequisites and readiness prior to deployment, identifying and resolving gaps or risks before implementation begins.\nPartner with Project Managers to align technical delivery activities with project timelines, milestones, and governance requirements.\nExecute Customer Infrastructure and Veeam Product Health Check assessments, analyzing environments and delivering clear, actionable recommendations.\nPerform testing and validation of deployed solutions, including backup/recovery testing, failover testing, and performance validation.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during implementation, engaging Support, R&D, or QA as needed for escalation.\nDocument as-built configurations, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials for customers and internal teams.\nProvide technical guidance and best practices to customers and partners on the ongoing operation and optimization of their Veeam environment.\nCollaborate with Sales Engineers during pre-sales handoff to ensure a smooth transition from solution design to delivery.\nIdentify opportunities for solution improvement, automation, and repeatable delivery methodology across engagements.\nMaintain up-to-date technical expertise across the Veeam product portfolio and related infrastructure technologies (virtualization, cloud, storage, backup).\nWhat You’ll Bring\n3+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Implementation Consultant, or similar hands-on technical delivery role.\nStrong working knowledge of data protection, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery concepts and technologies.\nExperience designing and implementing solutions across virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and enterprise storage.\nDemonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into detailed technical designs and execute those designs in production environments.\nStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.\nBonus Skills\nVeeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or higher-level Veeam certification.\nAdditional certifications in virtualization, cloud, or storage technologies (e.g., VCP, Azure/AWS certifications).\nExperience delivering infrastructure or product Health Check assessments.\nExperience working within a Professional Services organization at a technology vendor or partner.\nScripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, REST API) to support repeatable deployment practices.\nWhat You’ll Get \nPaid annual leave plus 4 extra global VeeaMe Days for self-care and 24 paid volunteer hours annually through Veeam Cares\nFlexible Spending Allowance (FSA) for medical, dental, vision, wellness, fitness, and tech-related expenses\nOpportunities to learn and grow through on-demand libraries (LinkedIn Learning, O’Reilly), mentoring, workshops, and learning events like our annual Global Day of Learning\n#LI-Hybrid #LI-EL1\nVeeam Software is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination in any form on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state or local law.
