This individual leads a team of QA engineers and testers, establishing processes and standards to ensure that all software products meet business requirements, are user-friendly, and are released with the highest level of quality and reliability.\nWhat You'll Do\nQA Strategy & Leadership: Develop, implement, and manage the overall QA strategy, methodology, and processes across the organization\nTeam Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers, including task assignment, performance reviews, and professional development\nTest Planning: Oversee the creation of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT)\nProcess Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, incorporating automation, new tools, and best practices to increase efficiency and test coverage\nStakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters, providing regular reporting on test progress, defect metrics, and product quality to senior management and project stakeholders\nRisk Management: Identify potential risks to product quality and timeline and develop mitigation strategies\nTool & Resource Management: Research, recommend, and manage QA tools and technologies (e.g., test management suites like Jira, TestRail; automation tools like Selenium, Cypress)\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is built into the product from the earliest stages of development (shift-left testing)\nRelease Governance: Define and enforce quality gates and criteria that must be met for a product to be released to production\nRequirements\nExperience: 8+ years in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a QA leadership or management role. Data quality assurance experience is highly preferred\nDeep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies (Agile, Scrum)\nProven experience with test automation frameworks and tools\nStrong knowledge of software testing types, techniques, and best practices\nExperience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)\nBasic understanding of programming/scripting is a plus\nSoft Skills: Exceptional leadership and people management skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
