It's a chance to bring deep pharma marketing editorial expertise into a fast-moving SaaS/tech environment at the center of how the industry is reinventing patient and HCP engagement.\nWhat You'll Do\nReview and QA project deliverables, including tool designs and the content library/matrix, for accuracy, consistency, and compliance before they move into client review\nGuide deliverables through client review and PRC submission, ensuring thorough, accurate editorial review at every round\nConduct pre-launch QA testing of the built tool against PRC-approved materials, including content checks and functionality testing\nDevelop, document, and maintain quality processes, checklists, and best practices for the medical editor team\nManage resourcing across a team of contractor medical editors: assigning, coordinating, and delegating review and QA tasks across active projects\nPartner with stakeholders across the Implementation and Customer Success teams including project managers, copywriters, developers, and customer success managers to ensure successful delivery across projects\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in life sciences, English, journalism, communications, or a related field\n5+ years of experience in medical/scientific editing, ideally within a life sciences marketing agency, medical communications agency, or pharmaceutical company, with direct experience editing pharma brand marketing or patient/HCP-facing digital content\nProven experience guiding content through Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) or PRC review and incorporating client and reviewer feedback across multiple submission rounds\nExcellent attention to detail, with strong factchecking, proofreading, and reference/citation verification skills\nDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain editorial processes and QA procedures\nStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nNice to Have\nDemonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, or managing editorial staff or contractors, with the ability to coordinate and delegate work across a team\nExperience with digital routing, document-control, or content management platforms (e.g., Veeva Vault, Ziflow, SharePoint)\nBackground in scientific research (e.g., PhD or postdoctoral experience in a life sciences field) with a transition into medical writing, editing, or communications\nFamiliarity with omnichannel or digital patient/HCP engagement tools\nPeople-management experience leading a team of editors or contractors\nInterviewing with Veeva\nWe value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process.
