In this role, you’ll balance high-velocity delivery with long-term code health, building impactful features while championing clean architecture, rigorous testing, and low technical debt.\nArchitect and scale high-performance APIs for Veeva Ostro’s SaaS platform\nPartner cross-functionally to design and ship new features\nProvide technical feedback on product roadmaps and feature scoping\nChampion quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and clean architecture\nOptimize application and database performance to handle growth\nEvaluate emerging backend technologies to improve engineering practices\nTroubleshoot and resolve live system issues to maximize uptime\nRequirements\n5+ years of software engineering experience shipping production code for B2B or B2C SaaS products\n5+ years of deep expertise in Python and frameworks like Django\nStrong proficiency with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL\nExcellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills\nInterviewing with Veeva\nWe value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process.
