The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with banking, finance, product, and technology teams to ensure seamless and compliant payment operations.\nThe Hats You Will Wear\nReconciliation & Settlement Operations\nManage daily transaction reconciliations across Credit Card and UPI programs.\nPerform end-to-end reconciliation of settlements, suspense accounts, fee accounts, and operational ledgers.\nValidate settlement files, accounting entries, and transaction reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.\nInvestigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, mismatches, and exceptions in coordination with Product, Technology, Finance, and Banking partners.\nSupport settlement and accounting operations through preparation and validation of operational files and reports.\nDispute & Chargeback Management\nManage the end-to-end lifecycle of customer disputes and chargebacks across card and payment programs.\nCoordinate with partner banks, payment networks, and internal stakeholders for timely resolution.\nTrack dispute volumes, ageing, recovery rates, and adherence to defined turnaround times.\nIdentify recurring dispute trends and drive corrective actions.\nBanking Partner Operations\nAct as the operational point of contact for banking and payment partners.\nSupport operational reviews, reconciliation discussions, audits, and issue resolution.\nEnsure adherence to partner SLAs and drive timely closure of operational escalations.\nControls & Compliance\nEnsure operational processes comply with applicable RBI, NPCI, and card network guidelines.\nMaintain process documentation, audit trails, and operational controls.\nParticipate in internal and external audits and support compliance requirements.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.\nReporting & Analytics\nPrepare daily operational dashboards, reconciliation summaries, and exception reports.\nMonitor key operational metrics and provide actionable insights.\nConduct root cause analysis for operational issues and recommend preventive measures.\nThe Perfect Fit\n3-6 years of experience in Banking, Fintech, Payments, Card Operations, or Reconciliation functions.\nHands-on experience in transaction reconciliation, settlements, chargebacks, or payment operations.\nExposure to Credit Cards, UPI, Prepaid Cards, or Digital Payments ecosystems is preferred.\nExperience working with banking partners and payment networks will be an advantage.\nBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.\nProfessional qualifications such as CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nStrong understanding of payment transaction lifecycles and settlement processes.\nProficiency in Excel and data analysis.\nWorking knowledge of SQL is preferred.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nThe Problem We’re Solving\nFinancial institutions today are held back by legacy systems that are slow, rigid, and expensive to scale.
