Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited PTO for exempt level roles.\nSchedule:\nTuesday-Saturday 2p-11p\nRole Summary:\nAs the site leader, the (SENIOR) Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in the overall success of the warehouse facility by leading employee activity to achieve performance goals. You will be responsible for overseeing facility sort and driver launch operations while coaching, mentoring, and directing supervisors and associates to hit key KPIs and OKRs. You will also be responsible for managing the operation’s P&L, leading logistics oversight, and focusing on process improvement. Additionally, you will ensure safety in the warehouse, including being a champion of OSHA compliance and appropriate reporting.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBuild a high-performing team of supervisors and associates to deliver an advanced level of quality, speed, and service in all daily activities\n\nCoach, train, and guide supervisors and associates for forwarding career progression\n\nUse data and collaborate with the direct reports to identify and execute process improvements for the operation\n\nGenerate programs and practices that deliver a high level of customer satisfaction, on-time delivery success, and safety\n\nCreate, foster, and maintain strategic relationships within the Market, Region, and Central Operations teams\n\nPartner with our Client Operations team to exceed client expectations as their last-mile delivery partner\n\nChampion OSHA compliance and track incidents within markets\n\nLead through the lens of Veho's Values\n\nWork cross-functionally to hire, retain, coach, and develop employees within the operation\n\nLead efforts to significantly impact efficiencies and scalability in WH operations (i.e. automated sortation implementation) as well as managing increased complexity at the market level (hub to spoke, master sort facilities, high volume facilities)\n\nWhat you Bring:\nBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 3-5 years experience in warehouse operations management\n\nMinimum of 2 years leading and managing a team of direct and indirect reports\n\n3+ years of experience in warehousing, inventory, or logistics\n\nFlexibility, innovation, and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities, and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment\n\nAbility to effectively respond to and interact with staff at all levels of the organization\n\nExcellent written/oral communication skills\n\nIntermediate analytical skills--experience with Excel/Google Sheets\n\nIs physically able to stand for the duration of the shift, move boxes up and down, including bending and frequently lifting (up to 50 lbs required)\n\nWillingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings\n\nVeho is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
