Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401k and generous PTO for full-time roles.\nAbout The Role\nAs a Ground Operations Associate II at Veho, you will be responsible for performing tasks within the warehouse that allow us to deliver exceptional customer service and on-time delivery. Day-to-day, you’ll scan, sort packages onto pallets or into routes, and meet delivery driver partners for the morning launch. Additionally, you will ensure that carts are accurately prepared to ensure successful on-time delivery for our customers. This is a critical function to the success of our operation and how we revolutionize the delivery experience.\nKey Responsibilities:\nThrive in a fast-paced environment that demands quick thinking and physical agility, embracing the challenge of physically tasking work with enthusiasm and resilience.\n\nAble to take direction from Supervisors and Ground Operations Lead, specifically with our sort and accountability processes.\n\nMaintains a professional demeanor through interactions with colleagues, crowd-sourced drivers, and customers.\n\nStand for extended periods, move boxes up and down, bend, and frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs, ensuring physical readiness for the demands of the role.\n\nAbility to complete one or more of the following responsibilities:\nOperate a forklift and potentially a box truck with skill and precision, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials as needed.\n\nAct as a subject matter expert (SME) to provide training and coaching to team members as required.\n\nFunction as a problem solver showcasing the ability to be an independent decision-maker who can juggle competing priorities and complex problem-solving.\n\nCulture ambassador for current and new teammates. Lead by example in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment.\n\nQualifications:\nPrior experience in a warehouse or a related field is preferred.\n\nOwns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps on a smartphone daily.\n\nForklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks is preferred.\n\nAbility to pass a comprehensive background check.\n\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as required by operational needs.\n\nVeho is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
