About the Position
Velaz Group LLC is seeking an experienced Roofing Closer Manager to lead, coach, and develop a team of high-performing Roofing Closers. This leadership role is responsible for driving sales performance, improving closing ratios, mentoring sales professionals, and ensuring the team consistently achieves company goals.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with extensive experience in the roofing and home improvement industry who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Roofing Closers.
- Conduct daily sales meetings, role-playing sessions, and one-on-one coaching.
- Monitor individual and team KPIs, including closing ratio, revenue, appointments, and self-generated leads.
- Develop strategies to improve sales performance and increase closing percentages.
- Train new Roofing Closers on company products, the sales process, objection handling, insurance restoration, and presentation techniques.
- Review sales presentations and provide coaching to improve performance.
- Ensure all sales representatives follow company policies and ethical sales practices.
- Work closely with Recruiting, Operations, Production, and Project Management to support company growth.
- Track sales metrics and prepare weekly performance reports.
- Build a positive, accountable, and results-driven sales culture.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 5 years of roofing sales experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing or leading a sales team.
- Proven success in Roofing and Home Improvement Sales.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience improving team performance and closing percentages.
- Strong knowledge of insurance restoration claims is a plus.
- Ability to analyze KPIs and implement performance improvement plans.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Experience leading residential roofing sales teams.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting software.
