Additionally, this position is responsible for daily operational activities that support the goals and direction of the department.\nResponsibilities\nReceiving materials, physically and systematically, to be used in production operations and engineering projects.\nPhysically and systematically moving approved materials to support production and engineering demands as well as supporting internal operations of the warehouse.\nAssist in physically and systematically moving non-conforming materials and materials pending inspection within quality guidelines.\nPoint-of-use parts replenishment for internal production and projects, including support of part requests, Kanbans, work orders, sales orders, material transfers (MTs), special projects, etc.\nPerforming varying systematic transactions within Velo3D’s ERP system.\nComplying with materials management policies and processes, including First In, First Out (FIFO) material rotations, 5S, Safety,\nGood Documentation and Warehouse Practices, etc.\nParticipating in daily cycle counting.\nOperating powered material handling equipment (e.g. forklifts, electric pallet jacks).\nCommunicating via e-mail the status of material movements and transactions to key stakeholders (when appropriate).\nBecome knowledgeable on all key tasks performed within the warehouse.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nPossess high school degree or GED.\n2+ years of material handling/warehousing/logistics operational experience preferred.\nAbility to effectively communicate with peers and internal customers, both verbally and written.\nInventory control experience (cycle counting, physical inventories, etc.) preferred.\nExperience and/or certification in operating powered material handling equipment preferred.\nAbility to lift material up to 50 lbs.\nExtensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, etc.) is required.\nExperience with computer systems (Microsoft Office, NetSuite, PLM, etc.) preferred.\nStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills are required to effectively communicate with team members and internal
