The ideal candidate brings deep technical accounting expertise, strong business judgment, and a hands-on approach to building efficient, well-controlled teams and systems.\nEssential Responsibilities\nAccounting Leadership and Compliance\nLead all corporate accounting functions, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, revenue recognition, and the monthly, quarterly, and annual close.\nEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP, audit requirements, tax regulations, and internal accounting policies.\nOwn the preparation of financial statements, consolidations, and management reports.\nMaintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance.\nManage external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.\nManage a team of accounting specialists, including A/P, A/R, operating accounting, and SEC reporting.\nDraft presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.\nOperational Finance and Process Management\nOversee the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, policy compliance, and efficient approval workflows.\nPartner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve procurement, vendor onboarding, and alignment between contracts and financial controls.\nImprove inventory management practices, including valuation, cycle counts, reconciliations, reserve analyses, and aging reviews.\nEstablish reporting and controls across fulfillment, cost of goods sold, landed cost, and other supply chain-related financial activities.\nIdentify bottlenecks and drive automation across purchasing, receiving, inventory, and other finance-adjacent workflows.\nFinancial Strategy and Business Partnership\nPartner with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.\nProvide variance analysis, financial insights, and operating metrics to support executive decision-making.\nIdentify opportunities to improve cost efficiency across procurement, supply chain, and corporate functions.\nSupport strategic planning, scenario modeling, and long-range financial initiatives in partnership with the CFO.\nSystems and Team Leadership\nLead the modernization and optimization of financial systems, including ERP platforms, inventory modules, procurement tools, and workflow automation. \nDrive continuous improvement to shorten close timelines, improve data quality, and strengthen process discipline.\nBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing accounting and operational finance team.\nFoster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and operational excellence.\nDevelop talent pipelines and succession plans within Finance.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA) credential required.\n10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership of corporate accounting teams.\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit environments.\nHands-on ERP experience and a track record of process improvement.\nAbility to lead teams through growth, change, and system implementations.\nStrong analytical, communication, and executive-level presentation skills.\nDemonstrated experience leading close processes and supporting external audits.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMBA or other advanced business degree.\nExperience with procurement, inventory, supply chain, and fulfillment workflows.\nExperience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or
