is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support the Finance Team of one of its subsidiaries, based in Riche Terre.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nReceive invoices and verify them against purchase orders.\nAssist in processing and posting invoices into the accounting system.\nHelp verify transactions for compliance with financial policies and procedures.\nSupport the preparation and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.\nAssist with data entry and journal entries.\nGather data and assist in the preparation of schedules of expenses and maintain supporting records.\nHelp with monthly closing activities.\nAssist in stocktakes.\nAssist with document scanning, filing, and organization.\nSupport basic bank and account reconciliations.\nPerform other administrative or accounting-related tasks as required.\nQualification & Competencies:\nPursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\nBasic understanding of accounting principles.\nGood command of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.\nStrong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team
