With our headquarters in Boston, MA we are rapidly growing and expanding our team which currently has over 800 employees located in 14 different countries!\nThe Senior Accountant position is responsible for driving operational efficiency in financial reporting and compliance using best practices and automation with ERP/enterprise accounting tool\nWhat will you do?\nOwn and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting \nPrepare and review journal entries, including accruals, amortization, equity-related entries, and intercompany activity \nPrepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and supporting schedules \nMaintain complete documentation and support for all accounting entries and balance sheet accounts \nPrepare, review, and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies \nReview and approve accounts payable expense coding to ensure accurate GL classification, cost center allocation, and timely month-end close \nManage and maintain the fixed asset ledger, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals \nReconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations \nSupport revenue and deferred revenue accounting, including collaboration with billing and revenue systems (as applicable) \nMaintain and update accounting policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with GAAP and company growth \nAssist with external audits, internal audits, and regulatory or compliance requests \nDrive and participate in process improvement initiatives, including system optimization and automation \nPrepare and circulate internal management reports \nRespond to and resolve routine accounting inquiries from internal stakeholders \nExercise a high degree of integrity, judgment, and confidentiality in all financial reporting \nPerform other duties as needed to support the Finance organization and scaling business needs \nRequirements\nWhat do you bring to the table?\nMinimum 5 years of progressive general accounting experience, preferably in a software, SaaS, or technology-enabled environment \nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close best practices \nHands-on experience with cloud-based ERP systems such as NetSuite (preferred), Sage Intacct, or similar \nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large data sets \nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting concepts to non-finance partners \nHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously \nProven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment \nProactive, adaptable, and open to change and continuous learning \nBenefits\nOur core values\nPeople first.
