contributing to design, development, code reviews, optimization, and troubleshooting.\nLead development of scalable, secure microservices using Java, Python, REST APIs, and supportive frameworks.\nParticipate in architectural design sessions, define coding standards, and establish engineering best practices.\nOversee integration between applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.\nWork closely with product managers, UI/UX, architects, data teams, and leadership to define requirements and align technical goals with business strategy.\nTranslate requirements into technical solutions, user stories, and engineering estimates.\nStay current with emerging technologies and apply innovations where beneficial.\nWork closely with product managers, UI/UX, architects, data teams, and leadership to define requirements and align technical goals with business strategy.\nGuide, mentor, and support engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning\nRequirements\nWhat do you bring to the table?\nExpert-level proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture\nStrong experience with Cloud technologies, Microservices architecture, Application Programming Interfaces (API) and databases.\nHands-on experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).\nHands-on experience upgrading Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks to the latest stable versions, including dependency modernization, refactoring for compatibility, and resolving upgrade-related issues.\nExperience with GitLab, automated testing and modern CI/CD workflows.\n8+ years in software engineering with significant experience in Java-based backend systems.\n3+ years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.\nStrong communication skills to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience in developing software in a regulated environment is a plus.\nExperience working in clinical informatics, health care, life sciences or other regulated environments is a plus.\nExperience with AI-native tools and integrating AI/ML or LLM-based features into applications.\nBenefits\nFlexible Work & Time Off -
