You'll help us deliver high-quality ecommerce experiences across Shopify and Peracto , our in-house platform for complex B2B ecommerce.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone with solid commercial testing experience. You understand risk and own your testing from planning through to release.\nYou'll work closely with QA, Development and Delivery to spot quality risks early, make sure requirements are met and give our clients confidence in every release.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn manual QA across Shopify and Peracto builds, from individual tickets to complete end-to-end customer and buyer journeys.\n\nReview requirements, acceptance criteria and designs early, flagging gaps and testability risks before development starts.\n\nSet a risk-based test approach for each piece of work, balancing functional, exploratory, regression and smoke testing against scope and commercial impact.\n\nWrite clear, maintainable test cases and regression suites.\n\nTest storefronts, admin areas and APIs across an agreed browser and device matrix.\n\nRaise and triage defects with clear reproduction steps, severity and evidence, then work with developers to isolate root causes and verify fixes.\n\nOwn release readiness, including regression for Peracto platform upgrades, pre-release checks, post-deployment smoke testing and a clear go/no-go recommendation.\n\nHelp shape how we work, from QA estimates and project kick-offs to test documentation, processes and tooling.\n\nAbout You\nEssential\n3-5 years of experience in QA or software testing.\n\nCommercial experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester or similar.\n\nHands-on experience testing Shopify stores, themes, apps and third-party integrations.\n\nStrong manual testing experience across web applications and ecommerce websites, including checkout, payments and promotions.\n\nA risk-based approach, with a good understanding of functional, regression, exploratory and smoke testing.\n\nExperience writing test scenarios and test cases from requirements and acceptance criteria.\n\nExperience identifying, reproducing and clearly documenting defects.\n\nAPI testing experience across REST or GraphQL APIs, ideally using Postman.\n\nCross-browser and device testing experience.\n\nA good understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS and browser developer tools.\n\nA good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile ways of working.\n\nDesirable\nExperience testing B2B ecommerce, such as account-based pricing, quotes or ERP integrations.\n\nExperience testing headless or API-driven platforms.\n\nExperience working in an ecommerce agency.\n\nExperience with Jira, Qase, BrowserStack or similar tools.\n\nAccessibility testing experience.\n\nBasic SQL or database querying to verify order and pricing data.\n\nExposure to automated testing, or an interest in learning Playwright.\n\nExperience using AI tools to support testing activities, improve efficiency or generate test scenarios.\n\nHow you work\nYou explain issues, risks and testing outcomes clearly to technical and non-technical people.\n\nYou take ownership and drive your work forward with minimal direction.\n\nYou're commercially aware, balancing quality, risk, time and project needs.\n\nYou think critically and investigate issues to find the right testing approach.\n\nYou build strong working relationships with Development, QA and Delivery.\n\nYou stay organised across multiple projects and competing priorities.\n\nYou're curious and keen to keep improving your testing skills and our QA practices.\n\nWhy join us?\nThis is an opportunity to join a growing QA team and play an important role in delivering high-quality Shopify e-commerce experiences for a range of clients.\nYou’ll work across varied Shopify projects, gaining exposure to different stores, integrations, customer journeys and technical challenges while developing your QA skills within an experienced team.\nYou’ll have the opportunity to contribute to how we approach manual testing and quality across our projects, while working alongside experienced QA engineers and technical QA leadership.\nEqual opportunities matter!
