Embedded Software Developer (C/C++)

We are looking for a C/C++ developer to join our small team located inBrno. Our team develops embedded software for drive-unit based products such as windows, shutters, and blinds, and plays an important role in transforming electronic products into next-generation IoT solutions within Matter-based Smart Home ecosystems. You will work on software that brings smart functionality into everyday indoor environments and contributes to healthier and more comfortable living spaces.

Meet your future team:

You will collaborate closely with colleagues from our department in Skjern, working in an international setup with regular communication and occasional travel to Denmark. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about IoT, smart home technologies, and embedded systems with real-world impact.

Job tasks:

• Development of embedded software components in C++ and C

• Modular SW design in object oriented embedded systems

• Development and execution of unit tests and integration tests

• Writing of development documentation

• Development and maintenance of software platform for drive-unit based products (Windows, Shutters, Blinds)

• Transform our electronic products into the next generation IoT products in Matter based Smart Home ecosystems

• Introduce new, smart product features that enable even better and healthier indoor environments

What you will bring:

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Have experience as a specialist in embedded software development, ideally 2+ years in a similar role

• Be comfortable developing embedded software in C++ and C

• Have experience programming in an embedded environment

• Be familiar with object-oriented software design

• Be able to develop and execute unit tests and integration tests

• Be comfortable writing and maintaining development documentation

• Work in a structured way and focus on delivering reliable results

• Have a university degree in electronics, informatics, or automation

• Be fluent in English and also speak Czech

We also value if you:

• Have experience with Git

• Have worked with or are interested in Agile development / SCRUM

• Are familiar with software design patterns

• Have experience with continuous integration

• Have some experience with Python programming

• Have worked with tools such as GCC and CMake or if you have experience with IAR
