Our mission is to modernise and simplify how infrastructure services are delivered across the organisation, moving towards a platform-driven approach built on automation, Infrastructure as Code, cloud technologies and AI.\nWorking closely with Infrastructure specialists, Security teams, application teams and strategic partners, you will help establish the foundations that enable innovation across VELUX. While parts of our operational delivery are provided together with our strategic partner HCL, the focus of this role is on designing what comes next. You will help define new ways of working, strengthen our platform capabilities, increase automation and drive the transformation of infrastructure services across VELUX.\nBased in either Kolding or Hørsholm, you will join a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, experimentation and continuous improvement are encouraged. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to influence how technology is delivered across VELUX for years to come.\nWhat we offer\nThis is more than a cloud engineering role. It is an opportunity to help shape the next generation of infrastructure services at VELUX.\nMicrosoft Azure, Azure Arc, Infrastructure as Code and automation are key building blocks in our journey. At the same time, we are actively exploring how AI can support engineering, operations and service delivery, helping teams work smarter and focus on higher-value activities.\nMore specifically your tasks will be to:\nEvolve our Microsoft Azure platform, architecture and cloud governance\nDrive Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools such as Terraform and CI/CD pipelines\nBuild reusable patterns, self-service capabilities and standardised solutions that simplify infrastructure delivery across teams\nExplore and implement opportunities where AI can support engineering, troubleshooting, documentation and operations\nSupport FinOps initiatives and improve cloud cost transparency and optimisation\nExpand and mature Azure Arc across our hybrid infrastructure environment\nCollaborate closely with Infrastructure specialists, Security teams, application teams and external service providers\nProvide technical leadership and help translate architectural ideas into scalable, reliable solutions\nHelp shape the future infrastructure operating model at VELUX, driving standardisation, simplification and automation across the organisation\nPartner with our strategic operations provider, HCL, to continuously improve service delivery while strengthening internal platform and engineering capabilities\nWhat you will bring\nYou are passionate about cloud technologies and enjoy turning complex challenges into practical, scalable solutions.
