(Monday - Thursday)\nMonthly Salary Range: $8018 - $10,023\nPrimary Responsibilities\nHealth, Safety, and Environmental Culture\nChampion a strong safety-first culture.\nEnsure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with company safety requirements, established technical standards, procedures, and control plans.\nReinforce safe work practices and ensure employees follow applicable lockout/tagout, electrical safety, machine safety, and other required procedures.\nConduct workplace inspections, maintenance self-audits, and other compliance activities. \nEnsure identified maintenance deficiencies and corrective actions are addressed in a timely manner.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentation required for internal and external compliance.\nPeople Leadership and Team Development\nProvide daily leadership, direction, coaching, and support to maintenance technicians and other assigned employees.\nEstablish clear expectations for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, teamwork, and performance.\nAssign and prioritize maintenance work based on production requirements, equipment criticality, safety, and business needs.\nDevelop the technical capabilities of maintenance employees through coaching, cross-training, structured technical training, and knowledge sharing.\nConduct performance discussions and provide timely feedback to employees.\nPromote accountability, teamwork, mutual respect, and a culture of continuous improvement.\nEnsure appropriate maintenance coverage to support manufacturing operations.\nMaintenance Execution and Equipment Reliability\nLead the execution of preventive, predictive, planned, and corrective maintenance activities.\nEnsure production assets, utilities, facilities, and supporting infrastructure are maintained to achieve reliable performance and minimize unplanned downtime. \nMonitor maintenance performance and take corrective action when performance deviates from established standards.\nCoordinate troubleshooting and response to equipment breakdowns and recurring equipment issues.\nEnsure maintenance work is properly planned, documented, completed, and closed in the site's maintenance management system.\nPartner with production to coordinate planned downtime and maintenance activities while minimizing disruption to operations.\nReliability and Continuous Improvement\nMonitor and improve key maintenance and reliability measures, including Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), maintenance cost, and equipment downtime. \nLead or facilitate root cause analysis for significant or recurring equipment failures and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.\nIdentify opportunities to improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.\nSupport implementation and validation of new maintenance technologies, tools, equipment, and systems. \nPartner with Engineering, Production, and Technical Services on equipment modifications, capital projects, and reliability improvements.\nUse maintenance data and equipment history to identify trends and prioritize improvement opportunities.\nPlanning, Systems and Performance Managemen t\nReview daily and weekly maintenance priorities and allocate available resources accordingly.\nEnsure timely and accurate entry of maintenance activities and performance data into applicable maintenance and reporting systems. \nMonitor spare parts, contractor support, and other maintenance resources to support equipment availability.\nAssist in controlling maintenance expenses and identifying opportunities to reduce cost without compromising safety or reliability.\nProvide maintenance performance updates to site leadership and recommend actions when performance is below target.\n\nCross-Functional and Technical Support\nServe as a primary maintenance contact for Production, Engineering, Technical Services, and other site functions.\nCollaborate with divisional Technical Services and other manufacturing locations to share technical knowledge and maintenance best practices. \nCoordinate external equipment suppliers, contractors, and service providers as required.\nSupport technical training of operators to strengthen equipment ownership and basic equipment care.\nParticipate in broader Technical Services Maintenance network activities and improvement initiatives as assigned. \nSupport site initiatives related to energy efficiency, sustainability, and circular economy objectives. \nQualifications\nAssociate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical/Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field is a plus.\nFive years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience, including experience troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment.\nPrior supervisory, team lead, or demonstrated maintenance leadership experience highly preferred.\nExperience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.\nExperience with preventive/predictive maintenance and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.\nDemonstrated experience conducting or participating in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.\nKnowledge, Skills and Competencies\nThe successful candidate should demonstrate:\nStrong hands-on knowledge of industrial maintenance, equipment reliability, and asset management. \nWorking knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated manufacturing systems.\nStrong troubleshooting and structured problem-solving capability.\nKnowledge of root cause analysis tools and methodologies.\nAbility to effectively lead, coach, develop, and hold employees accountable.\nAbility to train maintenance employees and production operators on technical concepts and equipment practices. \nStrong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.\nUnderstanding of preventive and predictive maintenance principles.\nAbility to interpret maintenance and reliability data and translate findings into action.\nDetail-oriented and disciplined approach to procedures, documentation, compliance, and data accuracy. \nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across Production, Engineering, Technical Services, and leadership teams.\nContinuous improvement
