Now, we’re searching for a DevOps Engineer to help us scale our infrastructure, ensure reliability, and power our next generation of AI-driven financial systems.\nAbout the Role\nAs a DevOps Engineer at VELZI AI, you’ll build, maintain, and scale a secure, cloud-native infrastructure across GCP, Azure, and AWS. You’ll work closely with our engineering team to ensure seamless deployment pipelines, reliable environments, and high-performance systems that support our AI and fintech applications.\nYou’ll be the backbone of our infrastructure and enabling fast iteration, smooth deployments, and resilient architectures.\nTasks\nWhat You’ll Do\nCloud Infrastructure & Systems\nDesign, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across GCP, Azure, and AWS\nManage and optimize compute environments including Virtual Machines, Cloud Run, and container orchestration platforms\nArchitect scalable, multi-region solutions with high availability, redundancy, and strong security practices\nManage and monitor cloud storage solutions such as GCP Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage, and AWS S3\nContainers, Orchestration & Scaling\nBuild, deploy, and manage containers using Docker\nDeploy and manage services on Kubernetes (GKE / AKS / EKS)\nImplement auto-scaling strategies, load balancing, and autoschedulers\nOptimize resource utilization and cost efficiency across environments\nCI/CD, Automation & Deployment\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar)\nAutomate deployments, updates, rollbacks, and environment provisioning\nCreate infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or Pulumi\nPush our platform toward full automation and self-healing systems\nNetworking, Security & Integrations\nConfigure VPCs, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, subnets, and secure routing\nEnsure secure API communication between our Next.js app and backend services\nImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Logging, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, etc.)\nEnsure compliance, data protection, and identity management across clouds\nWork with Firebase Authentication, secure API gateways, and IAM policies\nBackend, APIs & System Support\nCollaborate with engineers to support API creation and deployments\nOptimize performance of server environments running in Cloud Run or VMs\nImplement failover systems, disaster recovery, and backup strategies\nEnsure reliable operation of services including SES / SendGrid, databases, and microservices\nCollaboration & Reliability Engineering\nWork closely with backend, AI, and product teams to support rapid iteration\nEstablish DevOps best practices, guidelines, and internal documentation\nConduct root-cause analysis, implement fixes, and prevent future incidents\nHelp shape the engineering culture by improving processes, scalability, and system observability\nRequirements\nWhat We’re Looking For\nProven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer\n\nStrong experience with GCP, Azure, and/or AWS (multi-cloud experience is a huge plus)\n\nIn-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud Run, and container-based application delivery\n\nExperience with CI/CD tooling and automation frameworks\n\nSolid understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, and cloud security models\n\nExperience with VM deployment, Cloud Run (or similar), autoscaling, and infra optimization\n\nStrong understanding of cloud storage solutions (Blob, S3, Cloud Storage)\n\nExperience with Authentication, IAM, or identity systems is a bonus\n\nUnderstanding of API architecture, microservices, and distributed systems\n\nExperience with Terraform, Pulumi, or other infrastructure-as-code tools\n\nBonus: Experience with observability stacks, FinOps cost optimization, or AI infrastructure\n\nYou’re a problem-solver who thrives in fast-moving environments\n\nYou’re comfortable owning systems end-to-end and improving processes proactively\n\nYou're collaborative, communicative, and enjoy cross-functional teamwork\n\nBenefits\nWhy Join VELZI AI?\n Remote-first & flexible - Work from wherever you do your best work\n Cutting-edge tech - Work with AI, automation, and the latest dev tools\n Rapid growth - Be part of an early-stage rocket ship\n Collaborative culture - Join a team that values innovation, autonomy, and teamwork\n Competitive salary & equity - Get well-compensated with generous stock options\n Career advancement - As we scale, so do your opportunities\nHow to Apply\nReady to build the future of finance?\nClick “Apply” and let’s start building AI-powered financial automation together.\nJoin VELZI AI.
