You’ll be joining a people-focused company, and as a Senior Financial Analyst, you will partner with the Finance and Accounting teams and with business partners across all levels of the organization, making key contributions to maintaining the financial health of Vendavo and influencing strategic decision-making.\nThe Senior Financial Analyst, working specifically with Workday Adaptive Planning, bridges finance and technology. They will design, build, and maintain dynamic financial models, data integrations, and enterprise reports. There is an emphasis on being able to build and maintain complex systems within Adaptive with little to no technical assistance. They will act as the technical and functional subject matter expert for enterprise budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling. They will partner directly with Finance and other stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable, driver-based planning solutions.\nTHE OPPORTUNITY\nModel Design & Configuration Architect: Maintain complex Adaptive Planning models including personnel, expense, revenue and capital sheets.\nConfigure versions, attributes, dimensions, levels, and advanced formulas to support dynamic business scenarios.\nDevelop driver-based logic and allocation rules to streamline annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting cycles.\nData Integration & Accuracy: Design, build, and troubleshoot data integrations (ETL processes) between Workday Adaptive Planning and enterprise systems (Workday Financials, HCM or external ERPs). Validate and reconcile data across source platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy. Deep knowledge of NetSuite and integrating that platform’s data into Adaptive.\nGovern the Workday Financial Data Model (FDM) and hierarchy structures within the planning environment.\nReporting & Analytics: Build executive dashboards, scorecards, and management reports for strategic decision-making.\nManage and develop robust reporting packages using Adaptive Office Connect.\nConfigure workflows, approval processes and user security/role-based access.\nContinually assess and improve financial processes.\nWork across the Finance and Accounting teams on ad-hoc projects as needed.\nOther duties as assigned.\nTHE SKILL SET\n5+ years of experience in FP&A required.\n5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience implementing and configuring Workday Adaptive Planning with very little oversight.\nPrefer a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and/or Business Intelligence.\nExperience with Salesforce, and OpenAir is desired but not required.\nExperience with Netsuite and Workday is required\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and structure sometimes ambiguous data to create repeatable analyses to help identify business problems and deliver creative solutions.\nExperience partnering and working with senior managers and executives in a complex environment.\nExperience planning in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment, including allocations and consolidations\nFamiliarity with SaaS financial metrics (ARR, bookings, retention, deferred revenue).\nDemonstrated ability to gather requirements from finance stakeholders and translate them into documented technical specifications, with disciplined testing and change management before release.\nAbility to anticipate potential questions and issues and influence senior management decisions.\nSuperior MS Excel skills.\nWorkday Pro Adaptive Planning certification, or equivalent demonstrated implementation experience.\nHands-on experience with Workday integration tooling (EIB, Core Connectors, Data Designer, or Workday Studio) and with Adaptive Office Connect reporting and building out associated financial templates and dashboards.\nWorking knowledge of SQL and data transformation concepts, and experience with generative AI tools.\nExcellent written and oral communication and presentation skills\nAttention to detail with the ability to self-start, multitask, and meet deadlines with accuracy\nTHE BENEFITS\nProfessional growth and Development opportunities.\nWorking within a team of friendly, skilled people where help is always within reach\nFlexible working hours\n4 recharge days, where the entire company goes on a brief pause in all geographies for 1 day each quarter.
