Venti has offices in Cambridge (Massachusetts, USA), Suzhou (China), and Singapore - our Asian headquarters.\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking a passionate and driven Data & AI Engineering Intern to join our autonomous driving team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our data loop/flywheel, solving complex data-governance challenges for massive fleet test data using cutting-edge AI technologies (such as LLMs and AI Agents). You will play a key role in building highly efficient automated data pipelines and full-stack internal platforms, directly empowering the rapid iteration and validation of our autonomous driving systems.\nRole responsibilities\nAV Scenario Data Mining: Assist in analyzing and extracting critical driving scenarios and edge cases from vehicle log data (e.g., sensor feeds, speed, trajectories).\nData Pipeline Support: Help build and maintain automated scripts (ETL) to parse, clean, and organize massive amounts of test data.\nInternal Tool Development: Assist in maintaining and developing basic features for our internal web dashboards (e.g., visualizing test metrics or scenario statistics).\nAI Agent Exploration: Under the guidance of your mentor, explore using AI agents/bots to perform automated data analysis and assist in scenario generalization.\nRequired Experience\nstudents studying BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.\nSolid Python programming skills and comfort working in a Linux/Ubuntu environment.\nBasic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.\nStrong logical thinking, a passion for autonomous driving, and a fast learner.\nBonus experience\nBasic experience with backend web development (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django).\nBasic understanding of frontend development (e.g., React, Vue.js) or visualization tools.\nCuriosity about or basic experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI Agents.\nFamiliarity with Git and Docker.\nWe are looking for students with ability to commit to 4-6 months internship with us!\nWe also offer world-class benefits, fantastic culture, flexible working arrangements, and a great international working environment.
