Venti has offices in Cambridge (Massachusetts, USA), Suzhou (China), and Singapore - our Asian headquarters.\nThis is for an internship within our Operations Team where you will be responsible for autonomous vehicle operations in our customer sites where you will be responsible for Remote Vehicle Operations, Maintenance and Systems testing. where you will be cross-deployed to both the testing and operations team. This role will operate on a shift-based schedule. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of autonomous vehicles, monitoring and controlling real-time vehicle operations, conducting general maintenance and executing testing procedures. \nOn a day to day, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams while integrating new technologies, troubleshooting technical issues and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be vital in the success of maintaining compliance with safety regulations, optimizing vehicle performance, and fostering innovation in autonomous vehicle operations.\nRole responsibilities\nVehicle Maintenance and Testing:\nConduct diagnostics and maintenance on autonomous vehicles.\n\nCollaborate with engineering teams to integrate new technologies and features into autonomous vehicle systems.\n\nExecute testing procedures for autonomous vehicle systems in an operational environment.\n\nProvide technical support to on-site and remote teams during autonomous vehicle operations.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.\n\nOperations Control:\nMonitor and control the real-time operations of autonomous vehicles.\n\nExecute and manage autonomous vehicle operations to ensure safe and efficient performance.\n\nRespond promptly to system alerts and emergencies, taking corrective actions as necessary.\n\nShift Operations:\nWork on a shift-based schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage for autonomous vehicle operations.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain continuous and reliable system functionality during all shifts.\n\nSafety and Compliance:\nEnsure strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements.\n\nCollaborate with safety and compliance teams to implement and maintain best practices.\n\nRequired experience\nCurrent student in Diploma/BS.\n\nProven experience in vehicle/transport operations and testing.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nExperience with vehicle/transport technologies and systems.\n\nHands-on experience in mechanical systems and electrical/electronic wiring\n\nHands-on experience with Linux OS environment.\n\nKnowledge and background in Robotics/Automation.\n\nHands-on experience in Bash, Python, C++ and ROS is a plus.\n\nPossession of a Class 3 Driving licence is a plus.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\nAbility to adapt in a shift-based and 24/7 working environment.\n\nWe also offer world-class benefits, fantastic culture, flexible working arrangements, and a great international working environment.
