The role combines hands-on information security activities with internal ISMS auditing, risk management, compliance, and continual improvement in alignment with ISO/IEC 27001 requirements.\nEssential Functions and Tasks\nMonitor security systems, networks, endpoints, and infrastructure for threats and suspicious activity.\nSupport security incident identification, investigation, response, and documentation.\nCoordinate vulnerability management, patch management, and remediation activities.\nSupport access management, privileged access, and periodic user access reviews.\nConfigure, troubleshoot, and maintain security tools and infrastructure, including firewalls, endpoint security, authentication, and monitoring solutions.\nSupport security logging, alerting, and investigation activities.\nAssist with data protection, information classification, and secure handling of sensitive information.\nParticipate in third-party/vendor security assessments where required.\nSupport business continuity and disaster recovery security requirements.\nIdentify security requirements and recommend solutions to improve the organization's security posture.\nDevelop and implement security improvements and automation for repeatable security tasks.\nSupport security awareness and training initiatives.\nPrepare security, audit, risk, and compliance reports for management.\nEnsure compliance with organizational security policies and applicable information security standards.\nContribute to the continual improvement of the organization's ISMS and overall security posture.\nEducation and Experience Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum 2 years of experience in Information Security, ISMS, IT Audit, IT Compliance, GRC, or a related security role.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nGood practical understanding of ISO/IEC 27001, information security controls, risk management, and internal auditing.\nWorking knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint security, authentication, network security, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work with both technical and business teams.\nCompensation\nBase Compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. \nThis position is also eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus in accordance with company policies. \nVentra Health\nEqual Employment Opportunity (Applicable only in the US) Ventra Health is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a culturally diverse organization.
