This role integrates PLC, Safety PLC, IIoT, Digital Twin, machine vision, and PC-based control (NI/LabVIEW) to deliver high-reliability, zero-defect production systems with seamless coordination across robots, AMRs/AGVs/RGVs, and test platforms. \nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop PLC-based control systems for automated assembly lines, robotic cells, test benches, and intralogistics systems (AMRs/AGVs/RGVs). \nDesign and develop modular and standardized control architectures for assembly stations and production lines. Define reusable PLC code libraries, function blocks, and templates for scalable deployment across multiple lines. Develop plug-and-play station concepts, enabling rapid deployment, reconfiguration, and expansion. \nStandardize I/O structures, communication protocols, and interface definitions across equipment and systems. \nProgram and configure PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, ensuring robust, modular, and scalable architectures. \nDevelop and implement Safety PLC systems, including: Light curtains, area scanners, safety interlocks, E-stops \nCompliance with international safety standards (SIL, PL, ISO 13849) \n\nArchitect and implement multi-layer Poka-Yoke systems to ensure zero-defect production: Sensor-based validation (presence/absence, orientation, alignment) \nIntegrate and program advanced sensors and instrumentation, including: LVDTs for displacement measurement \nLoad cells for force/torque monitoring \nDigital and analog I/O systems (high-speed and precision applications) \n\nImplement and optimize machine vision systems, including: 2D vision systems for inspection and alignment \n3D vision systems for guidance and metrology \nLine scan cameras for continuous inspection \nArea scan cameras for static/dynamic inspection \n\nDevelop PC-based control and test systems using: NI (National Instruments) platforms \nLabVIEW programming for data acquisition, control, and automated testing \n\nIntegrate control systems with robotics, assembly processes, and test equipment, including tightening, dispensing, pressing, and welding operations. \nEnable IIoT connectivity, including real-time data acquisition, edge computing, and integration with MES, SCADA, and cloud platforms. \nDevelop and support Digital Twin / Process Twin models, ensuring synchronization between virtual and physical systems. \nLead system commissioning and validation (FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ), ensuring performance, safety, and compliance. \nEstablish end-to-end traceability systems, capturing process parameters, test data, and part genealogy. \nOptimize system performance for cycle time, throughput, and line balancing, ensuring synchronization across robots and material handling fleets. \nDevelop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, including diagnostics and fault monitoring. \nDesign and validate pneumatic systems, including valve control, actuators, and air management for automation applications. \nImplement auto-recovery and fault-handling strategies for lights-out operation (safe restart, interlock recovery, error-proofing). \nEnsure ergonomic and safety compliance for hybrid/manual stations and human-machine interfaces. \nLead root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement using data analytics and Lean methodologies. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering. \n10+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation systems. \nStrong hands-on experience with PLC platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, or equivalent). \nProven experience with Safety PLC systems and machine safety integration. \nExperience integrating LVDTs, load cells, and industrial sensors. \nStrong experience with machine vision systems (2D, 3D, line scan, area scan). \nHands-on experience in NI hardware and LabVIEW programming for test and control systems. \nExperience with digital and analog I/O systems, signal conditioning, and field instrumentation. \nKnowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus). \nExperience in system commissioning, debugging, and production support. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with robotics systems and intralogistics fleets (AMRs/AGVs/RGVs). \nCertification in functional safety (TÜV, SIL, PL). \nExperience with Digital Twin platforms and simulation tools. \nIntegration experience with MES, SCADA, WMS, and traceability systems. \nKnowledge of IIoT architectures, edge devices, and cloud integration. \nExperience in aerospace/defense manufacturing standards (AS9100, NADCAP). \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills \nAttention to detail and quality-driven mindset \nAbility to lead cross-functional technical initiatives \nEffective communication and training capabilities \nHow to Apply:\nAre you ready to embark on an exciting journey with VentureOne?
