At Venus, we’re looking for bold engineers and innovators who want to make history and redefine the future of propulsion.\nThe Role: FP&A Analyst\nThis FP&A Analyst is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial models, managing budgets and forecasts, and delivering actionable insights to leadership. The FP&A Analyst also drives process improvements, promotes reporting standardization, and helps ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information to support organizational goals and financial performance. This role partners with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making across the organization.\nThis position is an Individual Contributor role. The role directly reports to the Controller and routinely interacts with operations, business development, and engineering orgs.\nWhat You'll Get to Do\nSupport the development, maintenance, and analysis of the company-wide financial models\nPrepare, coordinate, and maintain annual operating budgets and forecasts\nDevelop meaningful financial models and scenario analyses, reporting templates and KPIs to support strategic business decisions and operational initiatives across the organization\nAnalyze revenue, gross margins, operating expenses, working capital, and profitability trends while providing actionable recommendations to leadership\nSupport headcount planning and workforce forecasting, including analysis of hiring plans, compensation costs, and organizational growth\nMonitor key operational and financial metrics, investigating anomalies and conducting root-cause analyses.\nSupport unit pricing and capital expenditure analyses through financial modeling and business case development.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations by streamlining reporting and planning processes.\nParticipate in special projects, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned.\nWhat You Have\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field\n3-5 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis\nStrong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling techniques\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nWorking knowledge of US GAAP\nWhat Will Set You Apart\nExperience with ERPs and financial planning systems\nMBA or a professional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus but not required\nExperience within aerospace,
